Good news,
We recently released the console version of Monochroma. We have been working on this version for more than a year and we had to optimize the game a lot to make it run smoothly.
We had to rebuild almost all the assets of the game. 3D models, textures etc..
Happy news is now Monochroma runs better than ever on light systems.
We also took into consideration the complaints about the character controller and we made some important changes on that part as well.
This patch includes:
- Character controller is smoother. Jumping from the edges is a bit more forgiving, the delay after the fall has been shortened and now the character is able to slide down from ropes and ladders.
- Bug Fixes that caused crashes to the game. Now the game is much more stable.
- Performance optimization on GPU and memory. We expect fewer or no crashes because of memory from now on and you might experience Monochroma on lighter configurations.
If you suffered from any of these problems, we suggest you give Monochroma a second chance. We want Monochroma to be rememberes as one of the best puzzle platformers of all times.
