

Oh So Hero! is a furry sextroidvania featuring explicit encounters with a male to male focus (plus some variety). Play as Joe, an average guy on Planet Aeter who enters a tournament where everyone can fight and fornicate. All willing participants use their strength and charms to outmaneuver their opponents and get one step closer to the Emeralds of Power!

The First Act of Oh So Hero! Aliens invade Aeter! Joe enters the tournament and travels from Sheo Islands Beach to Lood City where he encounters the large dragon, Bates!
Along the way, you'll meet a menagerie of anthropomorphic characters, and embark on a sex-filled adventure to win the mysterious alien Gerrabacco tournament being held on Joe's island!

Hi everyone. Players of Oh So Hero v1.05.000/001 have discovered a progression-halting soft-lock bug in the Forbidden Bayou. As the player travels east past the entrance to Hiroto Dojo, they will encounter a spot where the camera locks in place for an enemy gauntlet, but the enemies never spawn, preventing the player from continuing the game. This bug (sometimes labelled a \"regression\") was likely introduced by accident while working on localization code or fixing other bugs.\n\nWe will be rolling back the live Steam build to v1.04 until we can get this issue resolved. For everyone else, you can simply download/install the v1.04 build from the previous month. Because there were no new features added with the v1.05 build, we will not be creating a hotfix. Also, we still need time to create a proper fix for this progression-halting bug. In other words, please wait for v1.06, which I plan to make available for you all by September 29th.\n\nI\'m very sorry this build was released in a broken state, especially after all of the other bugs were fixed satisfactorily. The root problem here is lack of testers for this build and lack of game coverage in the testing. As a solution, I am increasing the size of our QA team and creating an entirely new testing process to make sure each build is tested from start to finish before it ever goes out. Thank you for your patience. It\'s my goal to make the next build a good one!

[list] - Set the "Bates_Joe_PSP2" animation (the late-phase Joe-initiated primary sex animation) as recordable (unlockable) so it can be marked as played and viewed in the Gallery without having to defeat Bates first.
- All Bates-related cutscene animations are now unlocked upon defeating Bates so you don't have to sit through all the cutscenes to get the "I've Seen Everything" achievement.
- If you're coming from v1.00 and have already defeated Bates but have not gotten the "I've Seen Everything" achievement because you have not lost to Bates, simply load the game, then travel to a new area to save (Tip: Brask's Lazurlite Mirror doubles as a manual save feature!). The achievement should then unlock automatically!

Play as the dragonesque Joe to fight and fornicate with your rivals, get intimate with a menagerie of anthropomorphic characters, and embark on a sex-filled adventure to win the mysterious alien Gerrabacco tournament being held on Joe's island!

A: Oh So Hero! is currently available as the first act in Joe's quest to win the Gerrabacco tournament! This is a complete chapter where Joe travels from Sheo Islands Beach to Lood City and challenges the dragon boss, Bates!
Act 1 can be completed in a few hours if you are progressing swiftly to the end of the game, but those who wish to make the most of their experience with the charactersin a multitude of lewd positionswill spend a lot more time in the world of Aeter. This first act features over 300 animations and a total of over 15,000 frames of hand-drawn high-resolution sprite animations!
Due to the shorter-than-average game length, we are selling the game at a more affordable price than other titles of this quality: $9.99 USD! And until June 6th, you can get it on Steam at a discounted rate of $8.99!
Your purchase of Oh So Hero! comes with bug fixes and select content updates for Act 1, which are expected to be steady in the coming months. We will continue to improve quality-of-life and even add some new animations.

A: Future acts of Oh So Hero! are on the horizon. Each completed act will be sold as DLC. Rather than paying $40 or more for a full game, you'll pay a smaller amountlike $10for each Act, and experience the world of Aeter within a more reasonable timeframe.
We feel this pizza-by-the-slice approach is the best way to share Joe's story with a wider community of players while also funding our tiny team to grow and make bigger, better work! Q: What if I am returning from an older version, like a development build, or the Pre Edition II demo?

Our goal was to make it easy to migrate your data, especially through Steam Cloud, but unfortunately some players have experienced the game crashing or hanging when using old game save data. Furthermore, old data can trigger certain Steam Achievements to be unlocked automatically, which may be undesirable.
Because of this, we recommend you start a new save before playing!

Q: What if I run into a bug or experience a problem?
A: We aim to have a good experience for all players, but bugs are inevitable, and it's our priority to fix them whenever possible! Whenever submitting a bug report, please provide your operating system and system specifications to help us debug the problem. If possible, please submit an error log . What is next for Oh So Hero!?
Q: What new features will be added to Act 1?
A: Aside from the standard bug fixes, there are some features we will be rolling out as free updates to Oh So Hero!
The biggest upcoming feature is localization. This will provide translation into various languages, including Brazilian Portuguese and a few others! We already have some people lined up to help, and simply need time to finish the programming. If you would like to help translate the game or contribute in any other way, please fill out this form so we can contact you if and when the need arises!
Q: Does this game have a soundtrack?
A: Yes! The Oh So Hero! Act 1 Original Soundtrack is available on several stores, and we are awaiting approval from Valve to list it on Steam as well!
Q: Will there be a free demo?
A: Yes! After we have finished all important updates to the game, we will create a free demo of Oh So Hero! Please stay tuned~
Q: What are the specifics of Act 2 development?
A: In the coming months, we will create a new development roadmap. Because this is outside the scope of Act 1, we ask you to visit our website to find ways to become part of its development!
Q: I live in Germany or China. Can I get a Steam Key?

The completed first act will be available for purchase on May 23rd, 2025 at 5:00 pm CDT (World Turtle Day), for PC/Mac/Linux.
Game Updates
The Steam build of Oh So Hero! will continue to get important bug fixes, additional languages, and select quality of life improvements for Act 1. These will come free with your one-time purchase.
Act 2 will be developed as an expansion (DLC) which will be purchasable at a later date.
