Greetings, fellow leaders! We have another update to make your road to world domination smoother and more enjoyable than before - it includes many bugfixes, from simple value display errors to potentially game-breaking issues with the autosave system. Not only that, but we have added a highly requested feature; and it shows you truly want to live out the fantasy of becoming a world-class politician in our game, since that feature is: Cheats! These new cheats allow you to give your country more resources, increase your regime's stability, and more. You can activate cheats in the Settings under the 'Other' tab, and you can use the individual actions ingame by right-clicking a province you own. [table equalcells=1 noborder=1] [tr] [td]

Fixed a bug causing territories not directly adjacent to a country, but belonging to it, not being highlighted on the map when hovering over the country

Fixed a bug preventing the province overview window from closing
Fixed a bug causing the game to sometimes freeze during autosave
Added new information tooltips to windows
Corrected layers in the Government window, where the panel stayed on the screen after opening another window.

Realpolitiks 3 is not designed to accurately simulate existing countries or their cultures. Instead, it is focused on providing a fun gameplay experience, letting you lead a country in a modern setting and rule it however you choose. To keep each playthrough fresh, countries are partially randomized at the start of every campaign. While borders, political systems, and overall power stay the same, the starting stats and policies will be different each time, providing new challenges and opportunities.

Prove your political brilliance in a grand strategy like no other: pick any contemporary country, set up your government and navigate the pitfalls of domestic and international politics. A glorious destiny awaits - the domination of not just the Earth, but the whole Solar system!

To achieve this ultimate goal, you will have to carefully consider a myriad of decisions, starting with the choice of a country you wish to lead. Any contemporary nation is available for your ambitions, from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe and everything in between.

You will also need to select your optimal form of government, build your cabinet of ministers, improve your character’s skills - all while leading your country’s efforts in economic development, research, diplomacy, espionage or war. Will you lead your people to the stars, or to their ultimate doom?

The politics are becoming REAL!

Influence every aspect of life in your country, from economy and social programs to researching ground-breaking technologies and developing your country with construction projects

Pick from 9 available political systems, from monarchy to republic, based on your personal philosophy, or even overthrow the establishment based on purely pragmatic decisions - Viva la revolucion!

The world is your playground!

Utilize extensive diplomatic options - become a part of established international blocs like the EU, NATO or BRICS and influence them from within, or start your own coalition and shape it in your own image; take on a leadership role or simply reap the rewards of membership
The choice is always yours - join one or even multiple different blocs, or opt to be an isolationist country
Invest into other countries and help them develop or leverage your position and strongarm them into puppet states
