At some point in their life, the Saw Hunter became afflicted with an unspecified disease, leading them to a town called Yharnam in search of a cure. In spite of their mysterious illness, the Saw Hunter is in fact much stronger and faster than average humans. They possess the strength and agility of a fearsome beast while resisting the call of blood-drunkenness through great force of will.[/i]
