You can now find Cursed Chests floating around different organs. They contain random rewards, for a price. Do you feel lucky today?

Special rooms now also require an upfront payment before opening their doors. Gone are the days of walking straight in and looting everything clean. Be careful with how much you spend You dont know when youll need some spare cash!
Organelle Visuals Rework

We want your parasite to appear more visually distinct as it takes on different organelles to really show off the unique evolution progress. Thats why in this patch, weve reworked the backgrounds of the internal organelles so they can influence the look of your pathogen even more.
Music
Pathogenics soundtracks have always been integral to the combat experience. In this patch weve made them cleaner, longer, and now your cellular combat action is ever more hyped. It\'s a pity we can\'t put audio files in this blog, so do load up the demo and listen to the music yourself!
UI Updates

Weve received requests from many players who want to take a closer look at their parasites. So heres the Photo Mode, where you can pause the game and zoom in on your pathogen.

Great news for speedrunners: Pathogenic now has a page on speedrun.com ! And to help you time your runs, a new Speedrun Timer has been added to gameplay settings.

Rework on how the organelle chaining works. Now cycles of organelles can no longer repeat and apply at most once. Sounds like a small change but some cycle builds that went out of control before are now significantly nerfed. Also these cycles should no longer crash your game
