About the Game

Hello hello

This weekend (24th to 26th of October) was the Stunfest, a local video games festival in Rennes, France. It was the first event I ever made and it was amazing. Seeing people playing and enjoying the game in front of me was priceless. I also got lots of feedback and did an update to fix most of them. The main feedback was that platforming is too hard for a narrative puzzle game. So, many changes are related to this and, if I\'ve done my job right, it should feel better now, especially with a controller.

Linux and SteamOS release !

Hello

The official Linux build has been released!
You can now enjoy Trigger of Time on your Steam Deck natively.

It should play around 40fps on the Steam Deck. I recommand reducing the render scaling to .8 to get a smoother experience.

The game cannot yet be verified on SteamOS because it's not yet trusted by Steam, I guess it needs more sales / reviews. There is no documentation about that. As soon as it's possible, I will make it verified.

Don't hesitate to give feedback on the game either here or on the official discord . Thank you!

  • Released native Linux 64 build
  • Fixed saving and loading states of many props (door, motors, buttons...)
  • Fixed the "Speedrunner" achievement, you had to die once in the run to get it, now you actually need to speedrun the game.
  • Fixed head bobbing and weapon sway going wild when player would go light speed
  • A lot of small errors fixed and a lot of cleaning in the project

More bug fixes and quality-of-life changes mainly focused on improving both movements and controller support

We're close to the 10 reviews threshold which is a big step to be considered legit by Steam and being suggested to players Thank you again to everyone who played the game so far!

  • Splitted sensivity into mouse sensivity and controller sensivity
  • Change the default controller keybind of sprint to LB

First of all, thank you so much to everyone who played the game!
And a special shoutout to those who left a review it really means a lot and helps me improve future games.

Then, there were some nasty bugs that needed eradication.

Changelog:

  • Fixed a blocking issue where if you fell and restart, you would be blocked and floating in the world
  • Fixed an issue where the music would start again after dying
  • Fixed an issue with new game that would not properly reset the previous save
  • Fixed a collision after the second big door
  • Various small tweaks and collision fixes.
