Ninja MMORPG with hardcore, old-school MMORPG inspirations and Open World PvP.
Free-to-play with zero Pay-to-win mechanics. Inspired by classic MMORPGs and anime from the 2000s.

Choose from 3 Villages or become a Rogue Ninja
Start off as in one of three factions, grow up in the safety of the gates of each village. But once you're strong enough, you can choose to abandon your home and become a hermit... or even go rogue.
Open World PvP & Hardcore Game Design
This may be a turn off for some, but Nin Online is a very hardcore game. So take this as a word of warning... Absolute freedom when it comes to PvP also means a bad time for some with a low tolerance for being killed for no reason. But for others, it's just another reason to get stronger in this harsh Ninjaverse.
Deep Character Customization in the right places
Choose to be part of a clan, join an organization or sign a contract with an animal familiar. Combined with thousands of equip-able items, no two ninja will ever look or be the same. Nin Online is a game where you are encouraged to express yourself. Looking good doesn't cost you to lose fights.
Friendly and active community & developers
The greatest feature of Nin Online is it's tight knit community and social features. The developers are active in our chat channels and have been constantly listening to feedback improving it since it's release. The game is still in active development with updates being made on a weekly and sometimes daily basis.
Huge PvP Changes
This update comes with a lot of changes to address the biggest concern amongst new players for Nin Online, the PvP button historically not actually allowing them to opt out of PvP (especially early on).
Nin Online is and always will be a game with a focus on Player vs Player combat. Since the original system was designed for Open World PvP, we\'ve added tons of new features that give players an agenda to actually participate in PvP. Be it raid systems, tournaments, special event modes like Capture the Flag and Team Deathmatch modes, bounty systems, crime systems and so many more, the focus has gradually shifted from meaningless killing of new players to giving players a purpose to participate in combat with each other.
This is a step towards allowing new players to get acquainted with the combat system before being forced into involuntary PvP against players 50 levels higher than them.
There are still lots of mid-to-late game activities that create incentive or force you to be in Open World PvP, so the hardcore nature of the game is not lost at all. For example, entering enemy villages and their surrounding areas, committing crimes or having a bounty all forces you into having PvP mode on.
For the existing players, this will mean more players for high level players to fight thanks to a smoother ramp up into joining in on open world PvP activities, without taking away from the open world PvP design of the game.
For new players or those who were previously turned off by being forced into PvP engagements in the game by players much higher level then them, this will allow you to - for the most part - avoid those encounters.

Changes
PvP Mode
PvP Mode being turned off means you will not be able to PvP at all except in War Zones and Arena Zones (before you jump to conclusions, read the other new changes)
PvP Mode being turned on grants you a 25% increase in Drop Rate and EXP Rate (does not apply for missions). This encourages being in PvP mode.
Importantly, if you raid an enemy village and turn it into a war zone, all ninja on that map instantly have PvP Mode turned on.
You can only change your PvP Mode in your own village
Raid points will only be usable by players with PvP Mode on
[/*]Enemy Territories
Safe Zones of Enemy villages (eg. Leaf village for Sand ninja) are displayed as Enemy Territories instead of Safe zones.
Entering enemy territories will always put you into a forced PvP Mode. This also grants you the bonus EXP and Drop Rate in those areas.
[/*]Bounty System
Defeating a player with a bounty will give you the entire bounty reward instead of half
If you have a bounty, PvP mode will always be turned on, so that players can attack you if they turn on their PvP mode
[/*]World map is updated to show enemy territories as dark orange and danger zones as yellow
