Hey folks, We know some of you have been asking for some time about Shooter 2 or Shooter Ultimate, well today we are proud to announce, in our continued collaboration with Kyoto based Q-Games, that PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate will launch on Steam and Windows PC TODAY! So what is PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate? Weve combined Shooter 1 and 2 to make a seamless story mode featuring all of the levels from the two games. Weve also changed up the Graphics and UI of both games, weve completely overhauled them to create the new Ultimate art style. Among a host of changes and improvements that make, what we believe, this to be the best edition of the game ever for Steam In addition to all of that we've done in creating the ultimate edition, our Steam edition gets a number of enhancements! :
- Carry your save file from PixelJunk Shooter (Steam) into Shooter Ultimate. (Meaning those with Save Data can jump straight into the PixelJunk Shooter 2 levels.)
- Switch between the new Ultimate art style and the Classic art style at any time.
- Keyboard & Mouse support with full Key Rebinding available.
- Steam Achievements, Leaderboards and Trading Cards.
- Rebalanced Online Battle mode which makes it much quicker to progress through the ranks and unlock new items.

PixelJunk Shooter has been out on Steam for 11 days now and we felt it was time for a bit of healthy competition now that youve had time to get to grips with the game..for the next week, we want you to give it your all and battle one of our developers to beat his top score! The man to beat is our own D11-GI.Bov and he will be battling to defend his position as global Number 1 throughout the week. He has racked up many hours playing the game already, but he wants to see what you guys are made of.Hes just passed the 3 million mark so the bar is set! He will post a few hints on how to get those high scores as the week goes on so be sure to keep an eye on the thread below: http://steamcommunity.com/app/255870/discussions/0/666826703618625119/ As well as the satisfaction of making the global top 5, anyone who manages to beat D11-GI.Bov will get a prize! Hi Everyone, After reading a lot of feedback on these discussion boards, we have addressed the following issues in patch 1.01. 1.The game should no longer crash when booting the game without a sound card. 2.An issue with collisions has been resolved on the OSX version of the game whereby liquids would not behave correctly. 3.Additional support for a greater variance of controllers. 4.Actions can now be bound to up to two buttons on a controller. 5.Various minor bug fixes. We are still addressing some other issues that have been brought up, and will release an update with these fixes as soon as we can.
