PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate Announcement

Hey folks, We know some of you have been asking for some time about Shooter 2 or Shooter Ultimate, well today we are proud to announce, in our continued collaboration with Kyoto based Q-Games, that PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate will launch on Steam and Windows PC TODAY! So what is PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate? We’ve combined Shooter 1 and 2 to make a seamless story mode featuring all of the levels from the two games. We’ve also changed up the Graphics and UI of both games, we’ve completely overhauled them to create the new ‘Ultimate’ art style. Among a host of changes and improvements that make, what we believe, this to be the best edition of the game ever for Steam In addition to all of that we've done in creating the ultimate edition, our Steam edition gets a number of enhancements! :

  • Carry your save file from PixelJunk Shooter (Steam) into Shooter Ultimate. (Meaning those with Save Data can jump straight into the PixelJunk Shooter 2 levels.)
  • Switch between the new ‘Ultimate’ art style and the ‘Classic’ art style at any time.
  • Keyboard & Mouse support with full Key Rebinding available.
  • Steam Achievements, Leaderboards and Trading Cards.
  • Rebalanced Online Battle mode which makes it much quicker to progress through the ranks and unlock new items.
  • A new Photo Mode which allows players to instantly pause the game and remove the HUD for beautiful screenshots.
Coupons? As a reward for fans of the series, all owners of PixelJunk Shooter will receive a 20% off coupon, all owners of any PixelJunk Series title will receive an additional 5% off per game. This could also include the already 10% off sale price for an up to max of 45% off PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate. In PixelJunk™ Shooter, you must pilot your spacecraft through a range of cavernous environments in a bid to save the scientists trapped underground. Making your way through the game will rely on your keen sense of observation and the ability to manipulate your surroundings. Add in a swarm of dangerous enemies, hazardous substances and stranded survivors in need of your help and your mission objectives are pretty clear!
