We have been reading all of your emails, tweets, posts and messages asking us a big question: Whats next for Slime Rancher? And today, were finally able to share a glimpse of what weve been cooking up. Slime Rancher 2 returns to the Far, Far Range and finds Beatrix LeBeau on unfamiliar shores across the Slime Sea on the mysterious Rainbow Island. The landscape of this island is painted in a prismatic array of ever-shifting colors, and its great expanses will put her adventurous spirit to the test, reuniting her with old friends along the way. With her faithful vacpack, plenty of grit, and a thirst for the unknown, Beatrix will establish a new refuge on Rainbow Island, uncover its mysteries, and advance slime science to new heights. This announcement is a surreal moment for the entire Monomi Park team. Last year was incredibly difficult and sad in so many ways for all of us, and working on this project allowed us to focus on the future. Now that it's here, we can only hope that it brings you as much joy and excitement as it has for us. We want to thank everyone who has shared your brilliant fanart, words of encouragement, and enthusiastic questions because it told us to keep pushing through.
