Thanks to the recent popularity of the game, we have received tons of valuable feedback from the community (both on the forum & Discord), and we can\'t thank you enough for that.\n\nWe have made significants changes to how trinket signergies with each suit, and came up with the following principles:\n

It's been 2 weeks since we have released the Demo version of RogueJack21, and already more than 2000 players have tried it! I can't express how much proud we are to have had reached so many players while receiving so many positive feedbacks about the game!
However, this also means that some of the bugs & balancing issues have caused a negative experience for some of you, so we worked hard to address all of these issues!
[u]New Content:[/u]
- Coupons have been added to the game. These are items that can be purchased at The House's Merchant, which grant bonuses that apply to the whole run. Some can be acquired during events.
- Enemies behavior has been adjusted to limit the number of Blackjack they can score. We also added some systems to better control their behavior, making them now feel more balanced and fair.
- Card counting feature: You can now see when an upgraded card is on top of your deck. While you won't be able to see exactly which card it is (unless it's a "Crystal Card"), you will be able to see which type of upgraded card it is, allowing you to estimate which card it could be based on your deck composition.
- Minimum number of cards: Your deck can no longer have less than 13 cards. If you remove cards and end up below 13, the enemy dealer will distribute random cards to you at the beginning of the battle until you've reached 13 cards.
- Disclaimer: A disclaimer message have been added when you start the game, reminding players that the demo build might encounter bugs, translation mistakes, and balancing issues. Your help in reporting these issues (via Discord or via the community forum) is what allows us to continuously improve the game!
- Map scrolling: You can now move the map by using the left mouse button, which will help Steam Deck users to navigate it more easily.
[u]Improvements & Changes:[/u] - Enemy deck have been adjusted to be a bit more fair. They should no longer endlesly heal or kill the player in 1 or 2 turns.
- Enemy will now keep on drawing after their Ace has adjusted its value to 1, as long as they have not reached their Stand Value.
- Luck has a new icon, and is now displayed as a progress bar.
- Improved animations when trinkets activate during battle.
- Improved animations when you select your deck at the beginning of the run.
- When unlocking new items at the end of a run, you will now see how many items you have unlocked
- Icons showing how many of each upgraded card you have in the deck view have been improved.
- Fortune upgrade now applie at the end of the turn, no matter the result.
- Void Card Shoe is now giving +1 damage per upgraded card in deck instead of +2.
- Glitch Upgrade now has a new visual.
- Crystal Upgrade now has a new visual.
- Improved some of the in-game sound effects.
- Improved the visuals for the trails following cards when they are moving back to your deck.
- Double down tooltip has been scaled up.
- Deck on the board has been repositioned.
- Improvement on the visual when destroying a trinket.
[u]Bug Fixes:[/u]
- Some Translations mistakes have been resolved. If you want to report a translation mistake, you can do so in our Discord (there are dedicated post for each language)
- Fixed some card upgrades visuals
- Fixed an issue causing some players to experience stuttering/lag when playing,
- Fixed an issue about Glitch Card value sometimes not adjusting to 1.

- Card upgrades visuals are now also visible on the back of the card. That means that when an upgraded card is on top of your deck, you will be able to see its upgrade. This effectively allows you to "count" cards, and be able to predict which card is coming next?.
- You will now unlock new trinkets by performing certain actions during your run. Unlocked trinkets will become available in your current and future runs, at the House's Merchant.
