Caveman Caravan is a tile-placing, resource gathering puzzle roguelike. Cavemen are organizing in caravans to journey across a land bridge. Help lead them to a new land by filling out the nearby map to provide them resources.
PICK A LEADER
Select your caravan’s leader to determine your starting tiles and tools. Each outlines a different playstyle…and some come with fun secondary effects, too!
GROW YOUR CARAVAN
Each tile and tool you add to your arsenal is representative of a caveman that travels with your caravan. The capacity to find different places, or use a new tool, comes with their presence. Add more members to your caravan as your journey continues to expand your options and increase your capabilities!
HELP THEM HELP THEMSELVES
Working together, the cavemen can flourish under your direction. Utilize their capabilities in combination with one another to provide them the resources they need to survive. Build surplus by gathering past their needs to earn some backup resources.
EXPLORE YOUR MAP
After each round, you select a tile from the map you filled out to explore! Find different events with different opportunities and effects on your caravan.
OVERCOME HARSH CONDITIONS
At the end of each season, persist through a round with extra effects and conditions that add an extra challenge with extra obstacles to overcome.
LEAD THEM TO A NEW HOME
Survive all 12 rounds to complete the cavemen’s journey to a new home! Earn a completion star on the leader select screen for each leader that you’ve helped on their journey.
UNLOCK NEW LEADERS
The three leaders available at the start aren’t all there is. Meet specific conditions and you can unlock more leaders with more playstyles and different looks!
FIND SECRETS
And more…?
Thank you for playing Caveman Caravan! This update is a small update with just a few adjustments:\nBalance Change:\n
- \n
- The effect of the tool \"Needle\" has been modified. The emergent strategy that came from using it before was unfortunately tedious despite being powerful. I don\'t want to quash an effective combination, but when that effective combination becomes boring to use, a change feels neccesary. Its new effect should lead to at least less tedium in its use in most situations.\n
- \n
- Locked characters will now more visibly display their unlock requirements without needing the question mark moused over.\n
- One of these locked characters now also shows a button prompt to help navigate toward the mechanic involved in unlocking them.\n
- A hint toward an easter egg was added to one of the exploration events of a tile.\n
