In this digest we would like to tell you about our continuing work on improvements and fixes in the game.

Fixed ship movement after the launch of scouting aircraft

Scouting aircraft is a very useful feature for some large ships but after launching, your ship is left defenceless and its a good idea for it to be under cover at this moment. We have fixed a bug where after launching a scouting aircraft from a moving ship the automatic stop mechanism was ill advised and left the ship in reverse. Now, when leaving a ship behind an island you will find it where you left it after the flight.

Fixed helicopter air-to-ground radar

In helicopters that have it, there was a bug that stopped a target being detected unless it was in line of sight for the optical system. Logically, the radar should have seen it . This of course was wrong. In some vehicles with the radar over the propeller blades, the detection should occur in line of sight with the radar. Now the mechanism is working properly.

Fixed freezes and FPS drop

These were a few bug fixes that some of you may have encountered since the last major update. Crashes after selecting aircraft in AB, freezes on the PS 4 platform in Enduring Confrontation battles. We have also fixed FPS drop in aircraft cockpits that are equipped with multifunctional displays. We continue to follow your reports closely and if you still encounter problems like this feel free to let us know about it. We will fix it!

Update 2.15.0.29

Ground vehicles

M60 AMBT a bug has been fixed that prevented automatic distance setup on the machine guns after using the laser rangefinder.
T-55A, T-55AM-1, T-55AMD-1 the thickness of the bulkhead in the engine compartment has been adjusted: 20mm -> 5mm.
Type-75 MLRS 3rd person view camera has been repositioned.
T-80U armouring of the spare tracks has been adjusted: 30mm -> 20mm.
Merkava Mk.4B missing armouring elements have been restored.
Gal Batash Material of the hull front has been fixed from rolled homogeneous steel to cast homogeneous steel. Corrected the ammo capacity of the coaxial gun (1750 -> 5950) and AA machine guns (5950 -> 1750).
LAV-AD a bug has been fixed with missing info in the max speed of the M247 rocket.

Aviation

A-4N the sequence of the Shafrir 2 missile launch from the pylons has been adjusted.
Buccaneer S.1 S.2 the sequence of the AGM-12B missile launch from the pylons has been adjusted.
F-84F (all) a bug has been fixed where the weapon setup 2 1,000lbs LDGP MK83 + 12 HVAR bombs were mounted on the wrong pylon (report).
Meteor F Mk.8 Reaper separate bomb drop has been added for bombs mounted below the fuselage .
F-5A the name of the modification has been corrected from Flares/RWS to Flares/Chaff.
Mirage F1C automatic control and damping have been corrected.
A bug has been fixed where on respawning in a helicopter while firing from the forward-firing gun/machine gun, the message Fire is not available during repair was displayed.
A bug has been fixed where air to ground radars were able to display only targets in the line of sight of the optical system.
A bug has been fixed where, when using a gamepad, it was difficult to lock on to target in the TV camera of the guided weapons.

Naval

MPK project 12412P the Strela MANPADS has been removed from x-ray view.
Krasny Kavkaz a bug has been fixed that prevented use of the second and third ammo types in battle. Ammo racks in the main calibre turrets have been unified.
SF40 light and heavy a bug has been fixed that caused sinking when attempting to enable the pumps.
A bug has been fixed where a vessel moved backwards after automatic braking to launch recon aircraft with the Abrupt stop button. The bug might be observed during and after recon aircraft flight.
Destroyed armour plates now framed in red in the x-ray mode.
Position of the coal bunkers, fuel tanks and bulges has been changed in the hit camera to improve the display of the main modules.

Other

Freezes caused when quitting the game have been fixed.
A bug has been fixed where in some cases selecting a fighter in ground AB might lead to a crash while playing in the Compatibility graphics setting using full control mode.
Freezes on the PS4 that might occur in EC missions, have been fixed.

Sound

The sound of the GAU-8 Avenger gun on the A-10A has become much more distinctive when heard from the ground.

The current provided changelog reflects the major changes within the game as part of this Update. Some updates, additions and fixes may not be listed in the provided notes. War Thunder is constantly improving and specific fixes may be implemented without the client being updated.
