Erebos Loop is a fast-paced, retro sci-fi roguelite where progression is determined by your knowledge and understanding of Erebos's rules.
Once a thriving network connecting star systems and galaxies, Erebos was devastated by the Hostiles, whose quantum interference shattered its fabric. Now, both humans and Hostiles are trapped within the Loop. As an Operative of the Erebos Restoration Corps, it is your mission to uncover the mysteries of the Loop.
The Erebos Loop is unpredictable in nature, but the chaos can be controlled. Record coordinates of powerful equipment and upgrades, as well as enemies with specific weaknesses. This knowledge will be vital in future Loops, provided you locate valuable Override Terminals. Through knowledge and experimentation, build your own path through the Loop.

Command is always working to improve operative conditions within the Loop. Our scientists have successfully modified a portion of Erebos\'s quantum state, resulting in the first of several planned upgrades aimed at expanding your tactical options.
A new class of weapon, the Railgun, has now been deployed across the stations. Railguns offer:
Extreme precision

[/*]High penetration power, allowing projectiles to pierce through multiple targets in a straight line. This makes Railguns particularly effective in the narrow corridors that define many Shards.

Our scientists estimate that approximately 1 in every 8 weapons has been affected by the quantum state shift. These altered signatures now manifest as Railguns, and can be used by Operatives as their primary weapon.
For Operatives eager to test these systems, early field reports indicate that Aetherion 1-3306 contains a Railgun readily accessible near the starting area. In addition to finding units scattered across the stations, this location may serve as an entry point for immediate trials.
