The year is 2113 - Protoball is a futuristic sports shooter. Protoball blends FPS/TPP shooting mechanics with sports game play. Players athletically jump, slide, run, grind, and dash their way around the arena trying to pass the Protoball through their opponents goal. Players can shoot curve balls, passes, bounce shots, fake-outs and more.
Shoot your opponent with an energy shield projectile, or use it to deflect the ball and make a big play. Curve the ball, pass the ball, bounce the ball and more... Your skill and creativity is the only real limit.
We are currently still in early development, and our vision for Protoball is grand. We're a small but dedicated indie duo developing this game for the love of the game. Join us and together we will make Protoball the best that it can be. If you join the discord and ask any of the Playtesters and you'll find that we've incorporated and implemented many of the community's suggestions and ideas. You can help too if you join the discord!

Please test this feature heavily \n\nLeaderboards Fixed - Should Load with more consistency\n\nSeasons Added - Leaderboard will know show all past seasons and future seasons to come. Season 3 (EA) begins now!\n\nStats Menu - Now shows all stats including Training Mode Scores, Leaderboards at end of Training Mode Game Should load with more consistency.\n\nShield Limits - You get 3 maximum shields per goal. You can collect shield recharges around the arena.\n\nCharacter Size - has been adjusted, all characters are temporary and subject to improvement & replacement. \n\nUpdated Lighting - New lighting, less bright, and arena has been updated in a few minor cosmetic ways.\n\nLinux - Development branch is NOW TESTING ON LINUX! #LinuxGaming is now.
