
Genki Break! is a fast-paced 3D fighting game all about movement and stamina management!
Genki Break! features an 8-way walk, 4-way dashes, and directional-based movesets along with a unique stamina system.
Don't feel like losing? Press all 3 buttons and spend a chunk of stamina to regain a sliver of health and get back in the fight using ADRENALINE RUSH.
Avoid overspending stamina or risk becoming STAMINA BROKEN. A state in which any knockdown becomes fatal.
End in a round while STAMINA BROKEN or in ADRENALINE RUSH, you'll enter STAMINA PENALTY for the next round. STAMINA PENALTY reduces your maximum stamina.
It features a cast of 5 unique fighters: Alex, Lumber, Sho, Mike, and Waen!
Waen, a Muay Thai boxer with a mix long pokes and up-close pressure.
Lumber, a pro-wrestler with heavy hitting attacks and even heavier throws!
Alex, a boxer with evasive movement and quick strikes.
Sho, a martial artist equipped with a nice balance of powerful and fast strikes.
Mike, a street brawler with advancing strikes and brutal offense.

Modes include: Online Versus, Local Versus, 4-Player, Arcade, Survival, and Training.
Online Versus: Play versus in lobbies or quick match with ROLLBACK NETCODE!
Online Tag-Team: Play tag-team in lobbies or quick match with ROLLBACK NETCODE!
Local Versus: Duke it out side-by-side, one on one.
4-Player: A chaotic 1v1v1v1 arena battle, last one standing wins!
Tag-Team: Choose 2 fighters each and fight it out in 2v2 match with unique tag-based mechanics.
Arcade: Face all 5 fighters leading up to a climatic final boss to win the Genki Break! tournament!
Survival: Fight an endless onslaught on increasingly difficult fighters.
Training: Hone your skills, analyze the data, and lab combos! Featuring a hitbox viewer, frame data, and various other options to give you all the tools you need to practice the game!
Combo Trials: Test your skills by trying to complete increasing difficult combo trials, with 7 trials per character!
Replays: View past Local Versus and Online Versus matches. Whether it's to study up or revisit cool plays, that's up to you!
[u]Gameplay Changes:[/u]
Universal
- New Wakeup Move: Kip-Up. Performed with P+K, it's a more evasive get-up option in-place with slightly longer recovery.
- New Mechanic: Perfect Guard. By guarding right an attack connects, a Perfect Guard with be performed. Perfect Guarding reduces the stamina damage on incoming attacks and it denoted with a unique block spark.

Bug Fixes
- All bugs related to Waen's release have been patched.
- Wait in Training option during Quick Match now works as intended.
Button Macros
- Some buttons are now assigned as macros that will input two simultaneous button presses to ease execution for some attacks. One for P+K and one for P+G.
Kara Windows
- The kara-cancel windows for Mike and Sho have been adjusted to make it easier to input P+K moves.
