Congratulations to OG for successfully defending their hold on the Eaglesong trophy to emerge as champions of The Boston Major. After securing top seed in Group D, the green machine rolled through the Main Event Bracket while dropping only two matches en route to their return to the winner's circle. With a 2-0 win over MVP Phoenix to start the tournament, a 2-1 comeback against WG.Unity in the Quarterfinals, a dominating 2-0 series win against EG in the Semifinals, and a 3-1 triumph over Ad Finem in the Finals, OG claimed their third Dota 2 Major Championship title to cement their status as a major threat to the tournament hopes of all the rest of Dota's elite teams. We also extend our congratulations to newcomers Ad Finem for an amazing run to the Finals at their first Dota 2 Major Championship. Their spirited performances garnered the support and respect of many in the Dota community. With The Boston Major now in the books, we would like to thank all of the participating teams and fans in Boston, and all of the fans around the world who tuned in to watch the action unfold.
