Hi everybody! After a long wait, we are today releasing version 3.3 of Jagged Alliance: Back in Action for MAC and Linux. Yes we are skipping 3.2. That was an in-between patch that brought only small improvements and that you probably didnt even notice. Please let us know if this patch fixes stuff on your system or if it eventually even makes matters worse or brings up new problems. Here is the changelog: - Implemented language menu in the options menu - Fixed lockups and crashes on Linux - Fixed bug that prevented liberating the farm west of cambria and looting - Fixed bug preventing the player from completing the diamond quest - Fixed intro playing too fast - Fixed inventory exploit - Fixed corrupt savegames on OSX - Fixed non-liberated areas being liberated without the player entering them - Fixed counter-attack exit position fail - Investigated problems when splitting squads - Fixed some loot items being occluded by raycasts - Fixed several steam overlay related problems - Fixed problems related to line-of-sight-mode - Fixed problems related to dumped containers Many greetings, Chris

Back in Action takes players to the fictitious country of Arulco, where a ruthless dictator has seized power and only a small group of rebels stand to resist her. Tasked with freeing the island from the dictator’s iron grip, players will command rebel and mercenary forces while using tactical, diplomatic and economic tools to keep troops supplied and ready for the next flight, all while commanding them directly in nail-biting battles.
Back in Action’s innovative “plan & go” combat system combines real-time strategy (RTS) with turn-based elements to guarantee that the intricacies of tactical warfare are rendered in dynamic, exciting gameplay. This challenges would-be commanders to master not only strategy and tactical combat, but also to maximize their team’s capabilities through RPG-like character advancement.
