Brick Battalion version 1.06 is now available. This update adds split screen multiplayer while playing offline. Now four players can sit on a couch just like old times. To play split screen multiplayer, make sure you are logged off and go to custom games. The player slots should now offer Player 1-4 in addition to bots. Input profiles have changed to support split screen. If you were not using default settings you will need to reconfigure your input. There is a different input profile for each local player as well as menu navigation. When playing alone, all player profiles control the player. You now chat with just your team by default in team games. To talk to everyone hold shift when opening chat. The server has been moved to the cloud with this update. Connections should be more stable now. Complete change list:

Brick Battalion version 1.05 is now available. For this update, we concentrated on speeding up the pacing a bit without drastically affecting difficulty. The most notable change is that the "next brick" delay during firing has been reduced. No longer will you have a breather or impatiently tap your foot while your ship shoots off hot plasma. In order to accommodate this change, quite a few visual effects have been sped up, and with the intro sequence compressed, the entire experience should feel faster. With great speed comes great responsibility. A "last chance" recovery feature has been added that gives you some time to move your brick set if it lands on top of an already placed brick. You have a half second to move or rotate, up to two seconds total per brick set. This feature is ignored if you are holding "down" to make your bricks fall faster. Last but not least, the number of brick colors can now be changed in custom games. This number can be set to 3, 4 or 5 colors. Previously, all matches were 5 colors. The default for matchmaking is now 4. The number of colors affect the difficulty for all players in a match, with more colors being more difficult. Here is a video of a 4 vs 4 Bot Match showing the latest update: 4 vs 4 Bot Match So, what do you think? Let us know on the discussion board! Complete change list:

Brick Battalion version 1.04 is now available. As requested by one of our players, we've added an optional "Dr. Mario" style of rotation. This option is accessible on the "Input" tab in "Settings". We've also made the movement of falling pieces smooth instead of popping on the grid. This looks more aesthetically pleasing, and may be easier to control as well. Finally, there is an option to display your ship on the left side of the screen instead of the right side. This option is found on the "Video" tab in "Settings". Complete change list:
