This is a notice letting everyone know that the game's pricing will be adjusted in certain regions in early January 2023. The primary reason for this change is the different economic situation compared to 7 years ago, when the game was released. The base price for the game will remain at 0.99 U.S Dollars. The game will be using Steam's updated recommended pricing for other currencies. If you have any questions or concerns, you can leave them in the comments below or send them to support@lastquarterstudios.com.

Cats are Liquid - A Better Place is a 2D platformer about a liquid cat and her friends. You play as the cat, in a place created just for you and your friends. You get to go on a nice adventure with them where nothing goes wrong and everything is perfect, as long as your friends stay there, right by your side. Over the course of the game, you get to explore 120 rooms and discover new abilities like the hookshot and light burst. You can also create your own worlds, and share them with others through the Steam Workshop. All of the rooms in the game were made using the same editor that's included in the game. So if you see something in an official world, you can do that in your own custom world. There's a couple days left in the launch sale so if you're quick you can get it for just $1.35! Links! Steam, itch.io, Google Play, App Store

Hey! Listen! There's a Last Quarter Studios Discord now! discord.gg/gppFSwr Discord is going to be a way better way to communicate plans regrading the next Cats are Liquid, progress updates and such. There’s channels for fan-art, story related discussions, announcements, all that cool stuff. And (obviously) there’s also fancy custom emoji! I’ll be (semi) active on there most of my waking hours, keeping the window open under/next to Unity and Visual Studio, and popping in to answer questions or to just chat. There’s also a cool mod on there called Ninetales. He should be active around the time when I’m sleeping, so there’s always someone there to keep an eye on things. There's about 50 members there already, and it's growing at a rather steady pace. Go join before it’s too late! And by before it’s too late I mean before the invite link that I set to never expire, expires.

Cats are Liquid Linux [105.46 M]
The game has 90 levels, that are spread across 9 different worlds. It has a minimalistic but colorful style. Along the way the game introduces new mechanics, like turning into steam and summoning bombs to break down walls.
The story is about a cat whose owner locked her in a set of rooms. She desperately wants to get out, but the rooms just keep continuing. Along the way the cat meets a new "friend" and gains new abilities. The story is told through small in game text pieces.
Level Pack: Companion
In the level pack you'll play as the square introduced in World 4 of the main game. The level pack is stylized in the same minimalistic way as the main game, with improved visual effects. It has 30 brand new levels to play (bringing the level total to 120), with brand new game mechanics. It also explains the background story of the square, what its purpose is and where it came from.
The level pack comes with no extra cost with the game.
