Changelog: Version Anniversary (1.3.0)
Improvements
- New level pack: Reset.
- New dialogue in neon levels.
- Extended ending.
- Added extras (test levels, unused soundtracks, other stuff).
- Player is rendered using metaballs.
- New main menu.
- Changed all cameras to orthographic.
- Transition from fly mode to normal is slowed down.
- Improved companion return animation.
- Upwards flying speed has been increased slightly.
- New intro screen.
- Improved fog.
- Fire now has a sound effect.
- Level pack buttons are now the same gray as in the main game.
- Small improvements and changes to levels.
- New end credits.
- Health UI is a little bit smaller.
- Removed background particles.
- Most of W3L6 has been remade.
Fixes
- Fixed cat getting stuck in a weird position on level start.
- Credits screen now takes into account the set volume.
- Fixed player abilities being activated while paused.
- Fix floor enemies getting stuck if hit by a player when it's trying to rise.
- Fixed flippers sometimes pulling the player through them.
- Fixed a jumping glitch which would cause the player to continuously fly upwards.
- Fixed typos and errors in the text (the square is not a cube, a single "grey" has been replaced with "gray", etc).
- Fixed cat exceeding Warp 10 and going where no cat has gone before if a very specific button combination is pressed just as the game is paused.

Cats are Liquid is (as the name might suggest) a 2D platformer about a cat with the ability to transform into liquid.
The game has 90 levels, that are spread across 9 different worlds. It has a minimalistic but colorful style. Along the way the game introduces new mechanics, like turning into steam and summoning bombs to break down walls.
The story is about a cat whose owner locked her in a set of rooms. She desperately wants to get out, but the rooms just keep continuing. Along the way the cat meets a new "friend" and gains new abilities. The story is told through small in game text pieces.
In the level pack you'll play as the square introduced in World 4 of the main game. The level pack is stylized in the same minimalistic way as the main game, with improved visual effects. It has 30 brand new levels to play (bringing the level total to 120), with brand new game mechanics. It also explains the background story of the square, what its purpose is and where it came from.
The level pack comes with no extra cost with the game.
