Halloween Update

Halloween Theme
The week before and after Halloween has some spooky suspires in store! I spent some time changing cosmetic things around for Halloween only.

Engine Upgrade
Now on Unity 5.4.1 instead of 5.3.5 and with that comes some stability and rendering improvements.

Damage Text
A "Quality of Life" addition that shows you how much damage you're doing and the color changes depending on element. Green damage shows you acid, blue is ice, and white is normal damage.

The Single Player Update

I've been reading feedback and made some major changes to the single player portion of the game. I hope you enjoy and let me know what you think in the discussion boards. The single player update has been

Music
Single player levels now have music! Upbeat and tailored to each them to compliment the faster game play.

Faster Game Play
We've gone from 40 rounds down to 30 rounds but there's so much more to kill. Mini bosses almost every 3 rounds instead of 5, 3 major bosses instead of 2, and some new units thrown in between!

Persistent Upgrades
Every major boss kill grants you a different kind of upgrade point! In the main menu you can spend these points on extra lives, extra cash, bounty rewards, permanent damage upgrades, range, rate of fire, and more! These points do not carry into multi player.

New Upgrade Tree
I've tossed the old in-level upgrade tree in favor for something more fun. Love the Tesla Tower? You can now have up to 8 targets! Acid towers can now tick up to 160% faster! Upgrades are now only capped by the amount of bosses on a map.

Random Enemy Buffs
Sometimes it's just luck of the draw. Every round could buff enemies in a unique way. They could move faster, be more resistant to damage, or resistant to an element type. Good luck going all in on one tower!

Launch day is around the corner and I've been busy getting things ready! Pudgy bunnies have had their pep talk, towers calibrated, and each boss has been given a list of instructions on what to do. Almost 24 hours from now on July 14th at 3pm PST (6pm EST) everyone will be in their places waiting for you. Domain Defense is the result of almost 2 years of development and bug squashing so I hope you enjoy! So far it seems Versus mode with AI is the most popular followed closely by the large maps in cooperative mode. Remember, every game mode can be played solo too!
