Hey everyone, Hope you’re having fun playing Void Invaders! As we have mentioned before, we are working on another huge content update. Here are a couple things we will be adding:

  • Hardcore Mode: beat ultra-hard levels with new enemies and bosses
  • Music Mode: get the highest score before the track ends
  • New achievements
  • New leaderboards
  • New powerups
  • New skins
  • Steam Cloud saves
  • Polishing, balancing and bug fixing
  • More settings/options
  • AlienFX integration
Additionally, we’re looking into bringing the game to Linux, but we might delay that until another update. We want to make sure the game is great before attempting to port it! Since this update is going to be really big, it’s going to take us a while to get everything ready. We’re not sure when we’ll be releasing it yet, but we’ll definitely keep you updated. If you have any questions or suggestions, please post them in the discussions! We’d also be happy to hear your thoughts about this update.
