Hey there fearless pilots around the globe! It's been a while since our last update, we were working on a lot of new features and fixes simultaneously. Here is a quick list of things done and some important disclaimers:
(1)ATTENTION!: Global Leaderboard system is still under development so we encourage you to give us direct feedback when something comes up, bugs, crashes anything that corrupts the fun. You have to complete a full lap in order to register your time to the global leaderboard.
(2)ATTENTION MAC USERS!: Half of us inside the dev team are Mac users too, so we care about you. First of all we still have some issues about game updates on steam - every time we roll a new version, some of you might have to go through the painful process of "delete local content - install - restart the game". Also, please let us know if game crashes somewhere on new Time Trial mode.
What's new in v0.14:
Time Trials: In this game mode, you have a selection of 8 tracks where you have a target time to beat on each.
Global Leaderboard Ranking: All your "Time Trial" results will be ranked globally! Now you'll be able to compare your time with other racers and compete to the top.
New track colliders! Finally! We know how much you have suffered so far by sticking to walls randomly while racing. We worked hard and reproduced every track collider from scratch. It's so smooth now you'll enjoy slamming your car.
Car handling settings updated.
Car stats info bars are updated.
Lobby scene updated to match the upcoming and new features.
Cars have shadows now on Garage screen.
Avatar car & head got little visual update.
Race results table updated.
Allegri Rosso controller bug fixed.
Some more visual fixes here and there.

Cranks & Goggles is a single player top down racing game set in late 1920' and early 1930's. Players can create their avatar and enter different races in England, Italy, France and more. By unlocking harder events, players will need to purchase and upgrade higher class cars to progress. We must say it looks much easier to drive these cars than it is. Each car has unique driving behaviour and handling difficulty, so it is a top down racing game with a simulation touch.
