
We have taken the decision to release this patch while waiting for Unity to address an issue with the 2019 version they have, which is causing some unexpected behaviour in places where toggle groups are used. Ie, when a window is closed, the selected item is the latest in the list, and not the one selected, things like not always showing hero's/skins/perks etc, anywhere that uses tabbing/toggling, so we're in their hands while they address that. We don't know what the timescale is atm for them to pull that over into a public build as it's still being tested by them in an Alpha state. It could be tomorrow, it could be in a few months, we just don't know. So, although there may be some things that are a bit irritating, we decided rather than hold up the release any further, we'd release with this as they are not critical game breaking issues.
Optimization
We have focused a lot on optimization for this patch, this has included upgrading to a newer version of Unity (2019.1), and optimizing raycasts on the client.
Heroes
Increased Genie Jinx radius 5->7
Reinstated Tonys Caulk gun being able to heal world blocks
Rebalanced the block repartition among classes
Put the same starting blocks for each class
Increased Yetis SnowThrower damage by 40%

Reduced Cannonball life time 2 -> 1

New Perks system
All heroes have now 9 unique perks divided into three categories, heroes can equip up to one perk of each category at the same time.
New perks all cost 5000 gold and cant be shared anymore among heroes
Previous perks have been deleted, and all gold for them has been reimbursed.

Bug Fixes
Rectified certain heroes F abilities cancelling ninja bleed
Rectified if a turret only shoots once or twice, the turret will show the shooting animation when it is stationary
Rectified the surrender UI still showing 5 vote places
Rectified When hovering your cursor over a blank perk, it displayed broken stats.
Rectified that it was Impossible to get kicked from a game for AFK when a spawn you were using is destroyed and you dont select a new one.
Rectified when the host of a custom game leaves, the custom game is no longer joinable even if there are still people in the game.
Rectified the cannon block reducing fps

Rectified in Map Editor - if you click play and enter the map once you quit and try to play again you get the message already_in_different_zone

Your votes will decide the winner. Playability, visual appeal, fun, and ease of navigation should all be taken into consideration when voting. The map with the most votes will be the final winner and be added into the game. After the contest has ended, all prizes will be awarded.
