Were excited to bring forth this update as our Q1 Quality of Life update. The main focus of this update was to level up the current set of characters skill sets and kits and make certain characters a bit more fun to play. We also have a whole host of global changes - Find skills can now activate on vehicles, weve made some changes to how Taunt works, and the dreaded misclick on the overworld costing you focus can now be refunded!

Weve also made broad changes to the in-game encyclopedia, reworked tooltips to provide more pertinent information, added a few new settings, squashed a bunch of bugs and smoothed out a few areas of the game. We are once again asking the Kraken to drop more loot.

As the development process of Serial Cleaners continues, the internal builds are getting richer and richer with features, mechanics and systems. One of the goals we set ourselves while working on the design pillars of the game months ago, was to reach several different target groups of players, some very different from the other...

One of such target groups is a community of fans of stealth games. Stealth as a genre boasts many sub-genres and sets of distinctive features, influencing the perspective, difficulty level, pace and dynamics, level design etc. All in all, there are squad- and turn-based, very challenging and demanding extensive planning stealth games, and there are solo, fast and arcade'y stealth games. And all in between.



This versatility allows us to design Serial Cleaners as a partly stealth game the way we like most. Stealth elements in our game are one of the most important, and we're putting lots of emphasis on providing a high-quality stealth experience!

Out latest gameplay trailer, prepared specifically for our friends at Gamespot focuses exactly on two out of four playable anti-heroes, who have to clean up some messy crime scenes: Bob and Psycho. The marketing campaign for Serial Cleaner's continues! In our last announcement we have shown you a glimpse of the latest map you'll be able to explore in Serial Cleaners - the Parking! We also promised that we'll reveal more assets soon and now it's time to stay true to our words.

Therefore we're pleased to present to you a few in-engine screenshots showcasing Parking in its current state (pre-Alpha). Parking is a level designed with Bob C. Leaner, the protagonist who connects Serial Cleaner and Serial Cleaners.

Parking is one of vertical levels available in Serial Cleaners and this verticality guarantees more tactical and stealth options for you, the players. It's been almost three years since Serial Cleaner launched on PS4, PC and Xbox One. Couple of months later we ported the game to Nintendo Switch and iOS. These have been amazing three years thank to your amazing suport, readiness to share feedback and give us priceless advice, thank you!

Hello dear players!

Couple of days ago we've announced that a new, free update for Serial Cleaner is coming really soon, exclusively on Steam. And today is the day! You can already enjoy new gameplay mode in Serial Cleaner, which we call EASIER TO CLEAN!



What is EASIER TO CLEAN all about? From now on, Normal Mode will be easier to clean! All you have to do is start the game as you normally would to feel the benefits of reduced detection rates, a slower speed for Police and quieter movement. For those still wanting to break a sweat with a harder experience, go to the Options menu where you can enable Hardcore mode.

We hope that you'll explore a lot of exciting gameplay options with this entirely new and diverse way to play Serial Cleaner.

As always we wait for your feedback, comments, user-generated content (and you've already proven that you can make amazing pieces of art :D) We're here for you, ready to answer every question. Please share your ideas for the further development of Serial Cleaner!

It is my great pleasure to announce a great new addition to Serial Cleaner, available November 29th EXCLUSIVELY on Steam!

This addition is a fresh, completely free game mode, which we like to call "EASIER TO CLEAN MODE"

Although the name of the update pretty much speaks for itself, it's obviously changing the gameplay, making it faster, more arcadish and, well, easier.

Serial Cleaner is a challenging game, and every level needs a lot of careful planning. Even the tiniest mistake makes you start over, and we have received a lot of feedback from players asking us to prepare a game mode more suitable for players who prefer a more casual gameplay. And the EASIER TO CLEAN MODE is our response :)

The new mode will allow you to run fast, pass every level easier than ever before and focus on pace and pure action!

The EASIER TO CLEAN MODE will be released as a free update November 29th. And we already can't wait to listen to your feedback!

We hope you'll find the EASIER TO CLEAN MODE of Serial Cleaner as satisfying as we do! Enjoy the game and, as always, we encourage you to spread the word about Serial Cleaner, provide further feedback and ask us questions!

Dear players!
In the last couple of days we were working hard to eliminate all the issues you've encountered and make the game working smooth and enjoyable. We're still investigating some problems that shouldn't appear and we're doing everything we can to eradicate the as soon as possible.
The last update solved issues connected to Real-World Data entirely, but we've noticed that a few last levels are now buggy and difficult to play because of that. Hence, we've decided to bring back the old build with RWD features disabled. The game is now easily playable, but Real-World Data feature is turned off.
Our programmers are doing their best to solve all the problems. Please expect the new build, with RWD working perfectly as soon as possible.
As always, thank you for your patience and continuous support. We would not be able to improve the game without your help!

Hello dear players!

In the last couple of days we've observed a significant increase of the number of owners of Serial Cleaner. Many new players have been, of course, provided with the key after the last Humble Monthly pack for July had been unlocked (https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly/p/july_2018_monthly). Together with new players came a lot of new comments and discussions, connected, unfortunately, with series of various bugs and issues.

We have reacted as soon as possible and just few moments ago we have updated Serial Cleaner Steam version to solve as many issues, as possible. Many of you noticed Real-World Data problems. The error with Real World Data occurs because of the problem with third party software we're using. We double checked (and paid), so it should be good right now. Sorry for that issue. But even when you enounter this error screen, you should be able to play the game.

The other problems are individual issues, connected with specific configuration of hardware. We encourage anyone, who is still facing technical bugs and issues after the update, to send us an e-mail at support@ifun4all.com. Please include descriptions of the problem, screenshot if only possible, as well as dx_diag.txt. Thanks to this we will be able to try to solve issues as fast as possible.

Hi gals and guys, how are you? :)

It's been quite a while since we last wrote. The reason for the long silence was that we were finalizing the global publishing deal for Serial Cleaner and today we can officialy announce that Curve Digital is co-funding the development process, as well as helping us deliver the best version of Serial Cleaner we can dream of!

Initially we wanted to launch Serial Cleaner pretty early this year, but with the help of Curve we have more time to add a lot of new features, thanks to which Serial Cleaner will be bigger, better, much more diverse, challenging and, hopefully, fun to play for you guys!

For the next few months we won't be updating the game's client, no worries though, for we work really hard on delivering an awesome piece of software, I promise!

Together with Curve we aim at the Summer launch, simultanously on PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Those of you, who trusted us and decided to buy our game in the Early Access stage will of course get a full version of Serial Cleaner, without any additional cost, on the day of release.

You can sure that you'll receive so much more rich content! The level of Cleaner's replayability will grow significantly, for you can expect a lot of brand new features, which we really enjoy working on.

Therefore, milestone after milestone, map after map and mode after mode, we're getting closer to delivering a seriously BIG game, characterized with unique, hand-drawn graphics, arcade-stealth mechanics, memorable, original soundtrack that will be fun to listen to even outside the game, as well as tons of great features, which will leave you wondering about how to spend the next couple of hours in Serial Cleaner. And I'm telling - there will be a lot to choose from!

We deliver new levels, game mode, enemy types, Real-World Data functionalities and new music tracks that will melt your soul!

iFun4All S.A., a game development studio from Krakow, Poland, is super pleased to inform that Serial Cleaner, currently available in the Early Access on Steam and in Humble Store, has been updated to the version 0.6!

Serial Cleaner has entered Early Access on the 29th of September 2016. For the last two months we've been listening carefully to our fans' feedback.

The latest update delivers all that our players dreamed of! Here's a short list of new functionalities and changes:

• three new levels, even more complex and tougher than the ones you know!
  
  
• two new enemy types! Play levels 13-15 to see the Scout and Dispatcher in action!
  
  
• new Hard Mode variant: going to Options and ticking the Hard Mode option will make it impossible to hide when being pursued by enemies! It’s super tough this way, but some of you requested it, so try it out… just don’t say we didn’t warn you!
  
  
• new Real World Data functionality on select stages. Levels 1-4, 8, and 11-12 will change depending on the time of day. Play them before and after sunset to see the difference and experience the different setups!
  
  
• cleaning blood is now bound to the Left Shift Key on keyboards and the Right Trigger on gamepads. You won't clean blood automatically, instead, you can choose when to break out the hoover and clean away. See how you like this change and let us know!
  
  
• we also included a keyboard control scheme geared towards left-handed players. To change your bindings, go to Options and pick one of the two presets. We're trying to figure out the best control scheme, so please give us your feedback!
  
  
• new music! Listen to five new tracks, and hear final versions of several of the previous songs!

There will be a properly developed story for the game, but for now you can find snippets of it in the level descriptions in the Menu.

Hey guys! Since we’re still working on a proper tutorial, we’ve prepared these notes to help you get your head around how the game plays.

The controls are shown on the first level of the game, but let’s reiterate here:
Left Stick / Arrow Keys - Movement
X / S - Pick up/Drop Body
A / A - Use
Left Trigger / Space - Zoom Out

In terms of mechanics, here are a few things that may not be quite clear from the gameplay alone:

Goals - to complete a level, you need to pick up all bodies and place them in body drops, pick up all pieces of evidence (you don’t need to carry them anywhere, just pick them up), and get to the car (or, in one level, the elevator) to escape. Later on there are more bodies, more evidence to clear and more body drop options, plus you need to clean a certain amount of blood to proceed.

Zoom Out - this option is very useful, as it allows you to have a look at the whole location, so you can see all the active objects, bodies and body drops, and observe enemy paths. You can’t move while using this ability though, so be careful!

Making noise - when you walk around, there’s a visual representation of the sound you’re making under your feet. Enemies will react to it, even through a wall, so be careful where you walk! Also, the noise you make will be bigger if you’re carrying a body, or if you’re cleaning blood.

Cleaning blood - this happens automatically when you walk over pools of blood. Note that if you’re being pursued, you will slide on blood instead of cleaning it, adding you some extra speed.

Carrying Bodies - the only object you can use while carrying a body is the Shortcut. You won’t be able to hide, move objects or clean blood when carrying a body. You also move a bit slower, depending on the weight of the body - so it makes sense to drop the body when running away!

Enemy reactions - enemies will investigate if they see a body or piece of evidence missing, or if they see a body bag lying around. They won’t actually tamper with it, but they will get distracted for a while. Use this to your advantage!

Hiding - you can hide even if you’re being pursued, as the cops of the 1970s are a bit corrupt, maybe a bit lazy, and they don’t really care about running after you to the ends of the earth. When leaving cover, you can choose where to reappear by using the left thumbstick or arrow keys.

Moving objects - you can use these elements to change enemy paths or even lock them out! You won’t be able to use moving objects if an enemy is in their path. Some moving objects are activated by a button - seek them out using the zoom out ability.

Sound objects - these will create a sound after a short delay, that will draw enemies to the object for a limited amount of time. Experiment to learn to use them most efficiently!
