Many of you have already noticed the appearance of comments under published maps in the workshop with the words Moderation, Approved / Not Approved. This means that the map was checked by our team and rated according to certain criteria.

How the moderation process goes

Your published map is checking by experienced players: Moderators and Testers

During moderation the map gets different statuses:

APPROVED - well made map.
NOT APPROVED - the map which was made bad and needs improving.

Also, the map gets ratings based on three criteria:

DIFFICULTY

[1 - 2] - Easy
[3] - Normal
[4 - 5] - Hard

TIMING

Arcs placement, getting into the rhythm, variety - all mapping in general.
At the moment, the minimum rating is [3], the maximum one is [4,5]

STORYBOARD [background/special effects etc]

[1] - No background [black/gray one]
[2] - 1 background or a few different colors
[3] - 1 background/different colors + camera movement
[4] - A few backgrounds or colors with or without camera movement, a good idea
[5] - A few backgrounds, camera movement, special effects, a good idea - the storyboard looks really perfect.


At the moment, each workshop map has its own rating [except recently published maps] and we continue to check them :)

Some of your maps can be hidden from the workshop if they were made very bad. Therefore, our team asks you very much to make efforts while creating a map.

However, if your map was hidden - it can be remade and improved.

After the long moderation we selected 15 maps which will become official after the update of the game. Official maps will be visible to players in the game menu in the first place and divided by difficulty.
