Greetings friends! It's Oxy949 with some announcements! Intralism: Rebuild (new improved version of the game) comes to Steam Store today! Join now to test the new features and support the development!

Main differences with the original game:

• Greatly improved performance and stability
• Multiplayer up to 100 player per room, new coop mode
• Improved graphics and visuals
• New map events (such as video)
• New editor (planned)
• Free-To-Play (planned)

Top Q&A

What will happen with the original game?

Nothing. It will stays the same.

Will my items transfer to Rebuild?

No. Rebuild is a different game with it's own inventory but when the game will be finished you'll receive some gift

Where all the maps?

Correctly Steam has limitation for the Workshop. Our team developed a migration tool. It will upload all your maps from old Intralism to Intralism: Rebuild workshop.

Why Early Access?

Intralism: Rebuild is not just a redesign of the original game, it is a completely new version with many differences. Migrating all the old stuff requires time but more important - testing and feedback from players. The game development is not finished yet. Buy it only if you want to support the game development and playtest new features.

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

Until major features such as multiplayer and maps editor are added and tested. Roughly 6 months.

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

Free-to-play, stable multiplayer and new ranks system.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

Gameplay is almost finished but the game is missing some features like ranking and maps editor. Multiplayer needs more testing.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

After Early Access the game will become Free-To-Play. All current purchases are fundraising for the development of the game.

#1: Intralism Bug-Fixing Project

It's finally here! Meet official Intralism's bug-tracker. A bug tracking system or defect tracking system is a software application that keeps track of reported software bugs in software development projects. Why it's important step for the game? Because a lot of bug report's are outdated or are a dublicates of the same bug. From this time I'll try my best to fix the issues reported at the bug-tracker. So, don't be shy and send me all the bugs you found here.

#2: Q&A with devs

It's been a long time from last game update and you probably have a lot of questions, that's why I want to anounce the first Q&A with devs! The Q&A is scheduled for July 18th, at 18:00 MSK (15:00 UTC) at Intralism Steam store page (link) as live stream. At the stream session I'd like to disscuss with you the game future and hear your ideas about it. Have fun! Lately the moderation team has undergone many changes so that we can continue to publish official maps. This announcement will cover the most important changers to all you mappers out there! The old moderation system has been replaced! This means you will no longer receive a "pending status" in the form of p3/p2/p1 etc. Instead you will receive one of the many status's on our "Moderation Process" document which is listed below! This form lists all the various states your map could potentially go through whilst it is being moderated. The process of how maps are moderated is also available on this form. Ranking Criteria for maps has also been changed! The general rules remain the same however quite a few new additions have been made. The "Ranking Criteria" document list's the minimum requirements your map needs in order to be eligible for Official! (This document is also available below) Lastly, this is the most important change to the moderation system. We will not moderate every map anymore, instead we will moderate maps submitted by mappers through a form. If you're a mapper and you want to have your map moderated you will need to fill out a simple form to notify our mod team. This form is listed below! You can also submit using our discord bot in the official discord server. All of this may seem very vague or confusing so if you have any questions feel free to ask below or contact a moderator. All of these changes are likely to be updated/changed in the near future, for now this is a trial to see how well this new system will operate! Maps challenges is finally here.
They are limited-time and will change when finished. Accept challenge and try your best to get unique rewards. Beating easy challenges will unlock hardcore ones

New ranking system with points

Updated map difficulty. Now it's not absolute from 0 to 5. Completing official map will result ranking points depending on map's difficulty. This means you get more points from playing difficult maps.

New game modes

Endless - infinity game loops, random - replace arcs positions by random, hidden - less arcs visibility. This modes was made for fun (and callenges)

Community-created items

Now it's possible to create your own arcs and menu themes and upload them via Items Uploader as official in-game items. More info can be found in Items Uploader window

Mascot Challenge update

Due to moderation team changes Mascot Challenge end has been extended. Submit your works via Items Uploader (select Mascot Challenge as item type)

Two-handed maps rework

Old two-handed gameplay was improved by redone the mode from scratch. From this update the maps become a lot more playable

New accuracy

Now it's in procents and more player-friendly and easyer to get 100% if you playing hard

New stats after finishing map

Perfect hits, max possible score and other usefull information about your performance

At first I want to say: "There was no Intralism without community" And now to the point. Some time ago, one of our moderators, community manager and my development advisor, Sharp.Nsk, performed a series of non-professional actions that caused a repercussion and a split in the community. Therefore he was suspended from moderation for an indefinite period. This step is also the beginning of a changes in the maps moderation system, which is now, alas, not perfect and depends of a group of volunteers. I'll tell you more details a little bit later. Intralism Mascot Challenge 2019:

There been a while from Intralism's release and we finally decided that the game needs a mascot!

The Task:

Create a cute mascot-character for Intralism Use game's logo as source of inspiration (colors etc) Try to keep Sci-fi/future/space theme Yours original character only (don't use other's work or existing characters) Needs at least 1 image .jpg or .png format, Full HD (1920x1080px) and higher, at least one transparent image (no background) or PSD source in item's content folder (see more info below) Submit your character to the Intralism Workshop via "Intralism Mascot Challenge 2019 Uploader" until July 15th 12PM EST

How to use Intralism Mascot Challenge 2019 Uploader:

To launch: Open Steam -> Library Tab -> Right click on "Intralism" -> Launch "Intralism Mascot Challenge 2019 Uploader" [Uploader works only on Windows]. Fill all the fields, copy your images to content folder (opens via "OPEN FOLDER" button) and press "SUBMIT" button. IMPORTANT! After successful submission open item's page to fill payment options - it will let you to receive votes.

The winner will be chosen by community votes + our team and will get:

"Intralism Artist" role on our official Discord server and website [khb-soft.ru] Nickname + Artist role in the game credits. 3 Intralism keys 5 epic items + 1 unique Possibility to work with us in future Please, note that after winning you should agree to transfer us all permissions to your work and that it will officially belong to KHB-Soft.

Fast loading of maps in the lobby: if the player can't load the map during 5 seconds after the lobby creator's connection, he/she will be kicked with the message asking to disable storyboard in settings.

Hi everyone! Oxy949 is here with some improvements and bug fixes!

Core: Added +0.11 sec delay to arcs in map config v.2

Many "pro" players noticed that arcs in v.2 spawns a little bit earlier. This fix should resolve the problem. (join our Discord for more info)

Site: Replay download button added

Our team loves fair play. From this update, replays are available to download. For now it's only a json file and not playable in game. Old replays are also available but only readable by moderators due to encoding.

Editor: Set Player Distance event moved from "Storyboard" category to "Gameplay"

It was moved some updates ago, but many players sugessed it was bug. We moved it there due to "Black Screen option" - the option completly disables Storyboard events, but camera movements is a gameplay feature (check it on maps like Anubis) and can't be disabled.

Server connection improvements and status info

Server performance increase. Game will check server connection and display any problems (such as Steam down and maintenance work)

Discord and Twitch links open in OS's browser instead of Steam overlay

Thanks a lot for your votes! We have also taken into account your NO votes and informing you that the Black Background option will be turned off by default for all players. So everyone may continue to enjoy great storyboards on maps if they wish.

If you wish to make a Black Background for all Intralism maps, go to Settings>Gameplay and turn on Disable Storyboard option:

This option may also remove lags for players with low PCs and increase FPS.

Hello there dear players! It is time to tell you about global ranks and official maps! :)

About ranks in short:

You can get a rank by playing only Official maps. You won't get the rank by playing Loved, Funny or Workshop maps. You can get a rank by playing only Normal game mode. If you haven't got any rank yet your nickname will look like: Nickname#TBD Once you get the rank you will see your global position near the nickname:
You can check all Global ranks on our website
Our website gets the information about profiles from Steam, so you can easily find other players by their Steam nicknames.

Want to increase the rank? :) Read about ranks in detail:

Each Official map has an own score limit. To get the maximal score you need to hit each arc exactly to the crosshair. Like this:
When you make a perfect hit like this you will hear a special Hi-Hat hitsound. If you didn't hit the crossair well, but was very near to it you will also hear Hi-Hat sound, but won't get the high score. However, you will be able to save your combo.
That means you get combo only for Perfect and Good hits. If you will make any hit earlier or too late you will lose the combo and get a negative score. You will also hear the different hitsound.
If you hit the wrong direction or make random clicks your combo will reset and you also lose points. You will hear the glass break hitsound. When you finish the map you will see Accuracy and Score amounts. The highter accuracy you have, the highter score you get :) To get the best Accuracy you always need to make Perfect hits.
If you will get enough amount of score you will see the Rank Up message on the screen, which will update your position in the Global ranks list.
Let's summarize: to get the hightest rank you need to play Official maps with the best Accuracy. Good luck with beating ranks!

Useful tips and settings:

If you don't like hitsounds, you can disable them! Go to Settings>Audio>Unmark Hitsounds in Normal and Hitsounds in Relax. You can also change hitsounds to your own ones. 1. Open this folder: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Intralism\Data\Skins\default\sounds 2. Find the sounds you like, convert them to .wav format and give the same names as in the Intralism folder. 3. Copy and paste your sounds to Intralism folder. You can try to change sounds by using this example

About Official maps

Currently the game has 11 official maps. All those maps have been made by awesome mappers who got the help from Intralism Team volunteers to improve their maps and make them perfect. 11 maps is not the final amount! Starting from this update, we will begin adding new official maps! Intralism Team will moderate and choose best maps from the Workshop to make them official. They will help to fix some major mistakes and then move the map to the official list. This was only the first article about new updates. Follow our further news to know more! Please, have a look at the right upper corner of main menu. Every player will have a personal card showing the following information: ● Gained level by playing any type of maps in Intralism. ● The current position in the list of global ranks. #1, #254, #4532, #11184 etc. There is a white flashing effect for a card of #1-#10 players. ● KHB-Soft icon - Developers of Intralism. ● Intralism icon - Intralism Team member. Not the final decision yet. Maybe the icon will be showed for all players. ● The golden star appearing for those who bought Contributor DLC* The plus icon near of the player's card allows you to invite your friends to play Intralism together. *It is planned to make the game free, but there also will be the possibility to buy the DLC unlocking some additional features in the game. The DLC will not give any advantages in gameplay and will cost the same price as the current game's price [note that the price may be changed in the future]. All current game owners will get DLC for free. I would tell about DLC a little bit later since we need to discuss all features it will give to players. Hi all, Oxy949 here. At first want to say thanks to the community. There wouldn't be Intralism, without all of you! So, it's been awhile since last update and I want to tell you about future plans and why there wasn't any news. At first, our team was very busy launching new story-game Changeover: Decisions. That was fun experience! Finally, the game has been released and we can focus on other things. Things like next big Intralism "Rebuild" update. Why "Rebuild"? Intralism starts his story long ago at summer 2016. That time I had no experience at developing multiplayer (server-side) games at all. Now I see some major improvements that should be added. Not for mp only - for all the game. Global ranking system, more secure server connection and custom realtime-changing maps environments (see this old screenshot I made long ago for testing) for example.
But currently most of this features hardly possible with outdated code. So, I decided to COMPLETELY REWRITE (aka rebuild) FULL GAME. And there is some progress already. Hope Intralism: Rebuild soon become open beta and you can check out this awesome stuff yourself! Almost forgot! Please tell us your suggestion about Rebuild here. Hi all, Oxy949 here. Halloween 2017 Update is now live!
We added 6 new maps for Halloween 2017! Completing them will result an unique reward: The Hunter menu theme,White Bats arcs and Ghost shader Added 5 new items, obtainable by completing new maps, and by participating in the contest:
As usual, rewards are tradable but not craftable. Update 2.4 • Fixed a critical error with the display of the titles in the game • Fixed the bug with unsubscribing from the map • Fixed the bug with spectating in multiplayer • Removed Halloween2017 tag

Contest:

This is the second mapping contest in Intralism and we will be glad to see your works again :)

The task:

• Create a quality and beautiful Halloween-themed map; Find a song about Halloween or related to something scaring Add some awesome backgrounds about Halloween with an interesting idea [do not use any inappropriate pictures]
• Submit your map to the Intralism Workshop from October 24th 12AM EST until October 30th 12PM EST with the tag "Halloween2017" (should be selected in the "Level Config" window); Winners will be chosen at 31 October by Intralism Team members and will be greatly rewarded!

Hello everyone! It's Sharp.Nsk Many of you have already noticed the appearance of comments under published maps in the workshop with the words Moderation, Approved / Not Approved. This means that the map was checked by our team and rated according to certain criteria.

How the moderation process goes

Your published map is checking by experienced players: Moderators and Testers During moderation the map gets different statuses: APPROVED - well made map. NOT APPROVED - the map which was made bad and needs improving. Also, the map gets ratings based on three criteria:

DIFFICULTY

[1 - 2] - Easy [3] - Normal [4 - 5] - Hard

TIMING

Arcs placement, getting into the rhythm, variety - all mapping in general. At the moment, the minimum rating is [3], the maximum one is [4,5]

STORYBOARD [background/special effects etc]

Therefore, our team asks you very much to make efforts while creating a map. However, if your map was hidden - it can be improved and remade. In this update we also planning to add more languages. But our main priority is bugfixing and new features, so we decided to ask your help. We added three new winter maps to the "Arcade". Completing each will result a reward:

Contest:

This is a first ever Intralism contest for the community and we're rely on you! The task: • Create an interesting and beautiful winter-themed map; • Submit it to the Steam Workshop from December 15rd 12AM EST until December 25th 12PM EST with tag "WinterHolidays" (should be selected in the "Level Config" window); Winners will be chosen by your votes and will be greatly rewarded!

Hi all, Oxy949 here! In the upcoming update (probably 1.5) will be changed a highscore system. For now checkpoints don't amends final score. After 1.5 update every restart from checkpoints in the solo mode will give player -1 000 points penalty and reset current combo. This changes made to prevent players from infinite replaying, aimed to get the maximum possible score. As a result of the update, leaderboards will be wiped. (Actually, there is a plan to wipe the leaderboards every month or week, but it's not implemented yet)
