The Boguin cannon mini-game now has a new objective! For anyone who wants more of a challenge when they've collected all the rings, you can now compete with other players to get the best times. Compete with either your friends or try to get a spot on the global leaderboard!
Other changes:
- Improved controls slightly in the final dungeon.
- Fixed a speed-runner route that was accidentally broken in the previous version.
- Support for more encodings and line endings for save files.
- Fixed various smaller issues.
This release also changes around some of Owlboy's internals in preparation for the impending Mac and Linux releases. Hopefully those changes won't affect gameplay.
If you're experiencing problems with this update, the previous version of Owlboy is available in the previous_release version on Steam. To access it, right click Owlboy, go to Properties -> Betas, and select previous_release from the drop-down menu, and wait for Steam to update.
