Daily Deal - Owlboy 50% Off
And what a summer it's been! While we've been able to relax a little, there's always something going on. The game launched almost 2 years ago, but it still feels like only yesterday. Fan-art is always a fantastic thing to wake up to. In June, our artist Simon (@snakepixel) prompted a #drawthisinyourstyle while posting his own artwork of Otus, Owlboy's main character. There's been a ceaseless stream of amazing art popping in since then.
Thank you to all our incredible fans for showering us in all forms of Otus's this summer!
While Owlboy's been a huge success for us on Steam, it recently hit home consoles, which is what we've mostly concentrated on since the original launch. Recovering has been... trying. In July, PCGamer did an interview focusing on the aftermath of releasing one's dream game -
I recommend giving it a read, especially since it covers some of my favorite dev's input on a very familiar topic.
So what does the future bring for our tiny team? We'll let you know soon. Now that we've got some rest, things are slowly ramping up to new and exciting things! To keep an eye on us or get in touch, always feel free to hook us up at @DPadStudio. We've also created a Steam Developer Page if you want to have a peek at our other titles. We hope you've had a brilliant summer! All the best ~ Jo, D-Pad
