You've been getting stuck into Yooka-Laylee for two Pagie packed weeks now and Playtonic have an update for you...but first, a word of thanks from the Developers: Yooka-Laylee has been in the wild for two whole weeks and we’ve been positively overchuffed by the response from fans and backers around the world! We’ve very much enjoyed reading your feedback, lurking on your livestreams and absorbing your lovely comments, so thanks again for the support! It’s been emotional. Thanks to you lot, some 20 developers remain off the streets, mostly fed and in a stronger position than ever to continue creating colourful, personality-plump adventures!

What's next?

Your feedback has been amazing, thank you for taking the time to get in touch and sharing both positive and constructive feedback that will allow us to add significant improvements to the game and even add in some of the most requested features. So, coming soon...

The ability to skip dialogue faster.
Bypass cutscenes.
The ability to reduce the dulcet gibberish tones of the characters.
Design polish & gameplay tweaks.

And by popular request, Camera changes. We've heard you loud and clear on how you feel about the camera, so we're going to be making some changes to how the camera operates. This will give more freedom to the player by taking some, if not all of the reigns off the camera. We'll be sharing a more detailed breakdown of the planned game update in the coming weeks as we make progress. Until then, we'll be hanging out in the forums chatting to you and helping where we can.
