Surprised, aren't ya? Yes, it have been 3 years since the last update! Why, you might ask? Simple. After using Godot Engine to develop Alpacapaca Double Dash we fell in love with it. It's such a good engine for pixel art games! While making our 2nd game on it we though how much easier and better Alpacapaca Dash would be if it was made in Godot. So we took a few weeks before starting our 3rd game to remake Alpacapaca Dash in Godot! To celebrate the new update Alpacapaca Dash AND Alpacapaca Double Dash will be on sale! Take this chance to get both games! The core gameplay is the same, but we fixed a lot of issues that have been troubling us since a long time. Here is the list of everything that was fixed:

• fixed blurry graphics
• fixed blurry text.
• improved logo animation at splash screen.
• improved title.
• better death animation for the enemies.
• better laser animation.
• fixed a bug on keybind menu.
• better speed progression of the game.
• jumper powerup became double jump.
• added an animation when the player gets a coin.
• fixed a bug where the snake would fall off the platform.
• fixed a problem where the player would be asked to choose a language all the time.
• improved laser gauge interface and added small details to better show how much the laser gauge increased.
• fixed a bug where the player would become invisible after dying a playing again.
• Now there's no need to enter a name when starting the game. Your steam name will become your player name.
• highscore a tresure hunter score are now stored on steam Leaderboards.

obs1: The new update will only work for on windows for now. Soon mac and linux versions will be updated. ob2: If for any reason you want to play on the old version of the game you can click on Alpacapaca Dash on Steam, then go to Properties>Beta and choose old_version I hope you enjoy the new updated version of Alpacapaca Dash!
