Release Date Announcement!

Hey there, thanks for being patient. The Hex will release on Windows/OSX/Linux on Steam on October 16th 2018. That's less than a month away! I will likely have it on other PC distribution platforms shortly after. I've updated the trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGJ5eXMTZLQ Unfortunately The Hex will not be releasing with localization. I may write a post at a later date explaining the details, but for now I'll just say that the task of localizing The Hex is gargantuan and I didn't want to delay the release further. Eventually I would like to include every language that Pony Island supported, and possibly more!

You would have to be alright with slightly spoiling the experience by playing an incomplete and less stable version. But if you’re really eager send me an email at daniel.mullins.games@gmail.com. In a creaky old tavern, in a forgotten corner of the video game universe, a storm is raging. The barkeep gets a patchy phone call. It's hard to tell what the caller is saying, but this much is clear: someone in this tavern is planning a murder.

There are six patrons of the tavern; all of them are video game genre protagonists gone astray. There's The Spacemarine, The Sorceress, The Platformer, The Fighter, The Apocalypse Survivor, and The First Person Perspective. By exploring their memories you may discover the identity of the murderer... or you may find a much darker secret.

In The Hex you will...
