Hi all, We're pleased to announce not only the release of not only a new build for TY, that completes the additions to the levels in the game, but also the release of two great DLC packs for the game: TY1 Soundtrack DLC All the music you know and love, in MP3 format so that it can work through the Steam music player. Digital Deluxe Catchup Bundle

Buying the Digitial Deluxe bundle will save you a little bit of money (5%) for buying everything together. The "Catchup" bundle will let those people who've previously bought the game purchase the DLC at a reduced cost, to "catch up" to the Digital Deluxe bundle. These bundles are available from the main TY the Tasmanian Tiger store page on Steam.

NEW BUILD

The new build (r2135_v1.11) has the following changes, which completes the addition of new set dressing content to the levels: NEW FEATURES

CAMERA: Added settings.ini value for the camera distance so that it is maintained between loads.
CONTENT: Bull's Pen - added some more windmills, props and some critters to fill out the level.
CONTENT: Updated staghorn texture
CONTENT: Added additional props to Rex Marks The Spot
CONTENT: Beyond the Black Stump - added additional props and set dressing items to fill out the level, for if props are set to "high".
CONTENT: Snow Worries - added additional props and set dressing items to fill out the level, for if props are set to "high".
CONTENT: Fluffy's Fjord - added additional props and set dressing items to fill out the level, for if props are set to "high".
CONTENT: Cass' Pass - added additional props and set dressing items to fill out the level, for if props are set to "high".
CONTENT: Cass' Crest - added additional props and set dressing items to fill out the level, for if props are set to "high".

BUG FIXES

CAMERA: Changed the scaling of the 3rd person camera speed GUI slider, so that the default speed is a little slower than it used to be, and the min/max speeds you can set it to are a little slower. Made it feel a bit more like the TY2 camera from these changes.

GRAPHICS: TY1 - fix for "undefined" material name on a collision subobject (which is only on one prop in the game that we use - snowgum_02) and set it to wood like snowgum_01 - so the collision subobject isn't drawn when the model is instanced.

GRAPHICS: Stopped the wake from drawing in shadows and reflections.

GRAPHICS: Fix for the invulnerability particles to not have square edges due to edge pixels not being 100% alpha.

GRAPHICS: Fix for flickering shadows on some AMD video cards.

GRAPHICS: Fix for graphics popping on/off in the water shader

MISC: Fix for crash for unavailable language, depending on system language setting

MISC: Memory leak fixes

CAMERA: Fixes to camera lockon in Fluffy's Fjord

OPALS: Potential fix for opals that receive bad spawn locations (like that one in Lyre, Lyre)

GRAPHICS: Fix for some popping of particles due to issues with alpha As per normal, if there are any issues, please let us know! Cheers Linds

G'day mate! Things can be a bit confusing at times, so let me remind you what's going on...
You are TY, the last of the Tasmanian Tigers. Raised by a family of Bilbies, you can only vaguely recall your real parents. You've always thought that all the other Tassie Tigers died a long time ago.

But then the Bunyip Elder found you, and told you that your family is alive, but trapped in the Dreaming. Now hold your horses... don't get upset... you see they're not stuck there forever, if you're up for a bit of an adventure!
You see, deep in the Outback, there's this kind of glowy portal thing that is a doorway to the Dreaming. And around that portal there are some carvings in the rock, where five ancient mystical Talismans used to lay. Now, all you have to do is find the five Talismans, put them in the carvings, and the portal to Dreaming will open!

Now, before you go off like a frog in a sock, there's just this one SMALL problem. You see there's this evil cassowary - Boss Cass - who's also after the Talismans. Yes. THAT Boss Cass. The one that trapped your family in the Dreaming in the first place, and told the school board to remove all the meat pies from the tuck shops. And if you didn't think that made him enough of a megalomaniac, he's ALSO trapped a whole bunch of your Bilby mates in cages all across the outback... something about overdue library books... Anyways, if you want to open the portal, you'll have to beat him and his henchmen to the Talismans!

Don't worry though, you won't be alone! You'll have a bunch of friends to help you along the way, including me - your old mate, Maurie. Now let's get down to brass tacks, find those Talismans, and rescue your family!
