Hey there! I don't know if you're still here, but it's been 5 years since the last FMV game. It's time for a new project! One Rotten Oath is a story-driven 3D time-based defense FPS with FMV and thriller elements. Created by the director of A Trip to Yugoslavia. The game puts you in the shoes of the survivor, whose job is to protect the other people who are still trying to lead a normal life in a bunker. A normal night watch turns deadly, when the only working generator malfunctions and turns off in random intervals for 60 seconds. Public Preview is available now for free: https://piotr-bunkowski.itch.io/one-rotten-oath I'll be honored if you could check it out! Thanks again for supporting ATtY: DC through all these years and hopefully you'll like my new FMV title! ~Bunio

Hello everyone! Finally after a long struggle of rebuilding the systems from ground-up and fixing various errors we're proudly announcing a new ATtY:DC update. Here's the changelog: ~Improved FASTFORWARD (speed x3, added another FASTFORWARD mode with speed x5) ~Improved UI ~Improved FMV quality ~Improved cursor system (made from scratch, should be better for people who use gamepad) ~Improved choice selection (now it can be done without a cursor) ~Improved framerate (hopefully) ~Improved VHS effects ~Improved QTE UI (it will glow red, indicating that you failed) ~Improved pause screen (effects won't overlay it, should be easier to read text) ~Added epilepsy warning ~Added VSync ~Added effects toggle from extra options ~Added minigame (Thanks Hades for putting so much work into this little thing) ~Added achievements for the minigame ~Added stage selector (unlocked after beating game 3 times) ~Added function for Point&Click section, you can return to previous location with a button instead of looking for the icon. ~Added ability to quit the game at language selection and added a hint to use keyboard for navigating through menus. ~Fixed bug in main menu that, when pressing enter, it would skip to "Play VHS" and start the game ~Removed timeline sync entirely ~Clicking offscreen, alt-tabbing should pause the game ~When the game is saved, it will say "Progress saved" the first 3 times alongside with the tape icon. After 3 times, it will only display the icon to reduce distraction. We also spend some quality time with Mac and Linux, so hopefully they will work for everyone now. Sorry for this huge delay. There's a thing that you have to keep in mind about both ports. Basically, Steam overlay won't be initialized automatically. At the language selection screen, you can press Q to initialize it because some devices have a problem with Steam (it would crash the game instantly). This way if it works, then you'll be able to initialize it. If it doesn't, then at least you can play the game without achievements and stats. So, I guess that's all I had to say. Thank you for supporting A Trip to Yugoslavia up to this point. It means the world to us. Have fun with the new update! ~Bunio

Hey guys! It's been a year. Actually, for us it feels like yesterday. Maybe because ATtY's history starts way before this date. Everything started with original version of ATtY. We were just a few guys wandering around the forest and making a short Unity Engine test. We didn't know our project would end up that way. I still remember the day when I contacted Hades Productions. I was scared that our project would get rejected. Weirdly enough, Hades approved it and we started working on it during late 2014. ATtY started as a joke in 2013. I was talking with Maciek about computer games on a scouts camp when we were completely isolated from any internet or outside world connection. Then he said, "Hey, it would be pretty weird if we made a computer game one day." and I was like "Yeah, right. It's probably never going to happen." Yet here we are. I think the hardest thing was actually gathering the cast. We were nobody. No one wanted to work with us, because we didn't have any accomplishment in terms of computer games back then. We were turned away countless times. Then we decided to take our best friends on board. Dominik and Jakub. We started recording in August 2014. We had about 15 minutes of material, since it was just supposed to be a Unity engine test. Hades really liked the result, though. So he asked us, if we could keep recording. I agreed. Progress was halted for a few months. There was a lot going on in our lifes. We came back to movie set in November 2015 with Franek and Kacper on board. They came from town that's 30 km from us after they heard we were working on something like that. Maciek took a few acting lessons before coming back on set, so that's why all of the later scenes look better. We all gave our best. It was cold. My hands were frozen solid to the camera stand and guys were barely alive, but we made it. That day, recording offically ended. Or so it seemed. Early 2016 was a month of early alphas, public previews and various YouTube LP's. We were so proud of every single achievement. It didn't matter who played our game. Interaction with that person was the highest priority on our list. We've gathered enough feedback and decided to finish the game. During late 2016 original ATtY was released on GameJolt. It was met with a positive response. We thought it would end on that note. Everything went way above our expectations. Featured on GameJolt homepage, interviews in radio and local TV, fighting for awards in our capital and our first publishing deal. That's when we thought about ATtY:DC. We couldn't just release the same thing for actual money. Sometimes You reached out to us asking if we want to release our title on Steam. We agreed and somehow got greenlit. I've gathered the cast again in November 2016 for another recording in low temperature. We recorded that additional material and added it to the game as "A Trip to Yugoslavia: Director's Cut". Well, that's more or less the story so far. I would write even more, but I'd probably run out of characters. All I can say for now is that we're going back to ATtY:DC to give it a few finishing touches. More on it soon! ~Bunio

We're back home since yesterday. Unfortunately, we haven't won anything, but I guess the awards doesn't matter as long as you're doing your thing, right? Truly told, my guts we're telling me that we won't get any award, but that didn't bother me. It was our first time on this kind of huge event. Yeah, it was a big thing for us. I've met a lot of awesome people such as Scriptwelder, guys from Juggler Games and SuperHot Team. It felt pretty awesome just to be able to talk with them. I was scared as hell. I was scared to leave our panel and interact with other developers during the beginning hour. I felt like an ant compared to the humans, but then I've noticed that I have a chance to meet them all and I need to take it. On the second day, it didn't feel like a competition. It felt like home. I've became a part of the Polish GameDev Family. We've became a part of it... Thank you all! See ya around!

A TRIP TO YUGOSLAVIA is an experimental interactive game with a theme of the old VCR player (with the ability to REWIND, PAUSE and FASTFORWARD).

Welcome on a one way trip...
Game features:
- Full Motion Video
Thanks to FMV you can get immersed even more into your one way trip. - Point & Click sections
