Hi everyone, My name is Tiaan Gerber, 27 years old, Director and half of Skobbejak Games. First off, thank you to all our players and supporters, we truly appreciate that you decided to pick up Tyd wag vir Niemand. We cant thank you enough for all the kind words as well as the feedback that allowed us to improve Tyd wag vir Niemand immensely, that said we still feel there are a few areas that we would like to improve in the few next upcoming updates as well as add features like VR and possibly even a level creation feature with Steam Workshop integration if enough of you are interested in it. Although, while we would love to add these features we currently have our hands completely full with spreading the word about Tyd wag vir Niemand as our Sales seem to be much lower than our previously released titles launches so far. We dont know what the reasons behind this are but it could be due to multiple factors: -More games are releasing and its getting tougher to stand out. -We arent sure how the new Steam Launch Visibility works yet -And there also seems to be quite a few scammer reviewers using the free keys we supplied them as well as illegal free steam key sites to resell the game on G2A and Kinguin instead of actually reviewing the game (they keep getting craftier but we are currently talking with G2A and we will be contacting Kinguin as well soon). -As well as the possibility that we might have picked a bad launch date. As a small 2 man team, with very minimal funds and little time on our hands, we arent able to create a reasonable marketing campaign and we are trying to spread the game as much as we can but we fear our independent effort wont be good enough. Thats why we want to ask you, please, for any help or support you can spare in sharing the game and spreading the game, we would truly appreciate it and we desperately NEED it in order to keep Skobbejak Games and Tyd wag vir Niemad alive. I am very sorry to have to beg like this and I dont want to make you all do our marketing for us, we just want as much as help as we can. Its always been a bit tough for us, but this is the first time that a launch is unsustainable. At this current rate we wont be able to pay for rent or food and moving back in with my parents isnt an option as they've gotten divorced, I also need to help out my little brother who is working a dead end job and cant afford a place on his own. Getting a job isnt much of an option either as our country, South Africa, is currently sitting with a youth unemployment rate of over 30% and the odds of getting something good enough in time is slim and it would also halt nearly all game development as well, which we really dont want to do, not after 4.5 years of blood, sweat and tears and with all the exciting stuff we have planned for Tyd wag vir Niemand and our future titles. Alex my business partner and the other half of Skobbejak Games cant move in back with his parents either, his parents are already at retiring age and wont be able to sustain him anymore. Again, sorry for getting overly personal/emotional and telling you all our sob story, but I dont know what to do anymore, it feels like our efforts arent good enough to spread the game and I think we're gonna need all the help we can get. Please, we have put in an immense amount of time and effort into Skobbejak Games as a company and all our games including Tyd wag vir Niemand and its finally starting to feel like our games are shaping into acceptable quality titles and we just know we cant quit now, it would kill us. We feel like you all like Tyd wag vir Niemand and we love working on it as well, there is still so much we want to improve and add to the game but in order for us to do that and to survive not only as a company but as human beings, please any help you can spare would be greatly appreciated. Hi everyone, Just wanted to let you all know v0.5 is now available and includes 3 New Levels as well as a sprinting feature that allows the player to move faster but is only usable in normal speed as to not hamper the time-based challenges. We have also worked in a fix for the fireballs getting stuck on the 4th level and we have also adjusted the landing of the player when jumping to not kneel the player down as severely. The next update will include another batch of levels as well as add a more specific saving structure that allows the player to continue from the last checkpoint that they left off instead of just the level. Please find below a breakdown of the update. Hi everyone, First of all, thanks so much for all the support with the Early Access release, we're very glad you're all enjoying Tyd wag vir Niemand so far, we're really having a lot of fun with development and were happy that we can share in the fun with our players. We wanted to let you all know that v0.2 has been released and it includes a New Level. We hope you all enjoy it and please let us know what you think. Thanks goes out to Deviation and Drewid for their feedback on this issue, we really appreciate the constructive criticism as it helps us iron out all of the issues present so that we can ensure Tyd wag vir Niemand is polished and refined as much as possible. We are also looking into working in a story the best way we can, we had an initial idea for a story but we wanted our focus to concentrate on the gameplay and environment first and get it refined and polished but also get the opinion of everyone on the importance of a story, we will be working out a story as we develop the levels and then add it once we feel it is refined in enough to start adding it in.
