Hey, so letting you all know firstly Red Haze development isn't dead. What I've been doing is with Steam Direct on the horizon I've been working myself rigid to get several projects to a presentable enough state to post them all on Steam Greenlight on April 28th. Last year I worked on several different projects in several different engines as I did engine research, so I just have been working on these projects to see if I can get them Greenlit before Direct comes around as I'm rather on the poor side financially. Also prepping a Kickstarter to help fund future Steam Direct fees with one of the upcoming projects, Noiseless Signal, who's Kickstarter and a demo for this game will release in May.
As a result, Red Haze's two big content update patches have been delayed until May likely, but I have been working on it as I'm a hopeless busybody. I was going to wait to release this update once the Lighthouse update was finished, but decided it was a good time to release this patch as an in-between. This patch is focused on performance and bug fixing, there's no new content in it...
...Almost. This update does add a Linux version for Red Haze, MV added the support, but I haven't had a proper chance to test it so if any Linux users could tell me how it performs/functions, I'd be thankful.
For the rest of y'all, I've updated several rooms to hopefully improve their performance and have responded to several bugs reported in the Bugs/Typo topic. If bugs still remain, please let me know as I haven't had a good chance to test everything.
Thanks for your time and patience on these two big updates, and know I'll be posting like, 3-7 projects on Greenlight on the 28th, most won't release super soon but want to get them through Greenlight now while I have the chance.
