Greetings pilots!
More than a week has passed since we've started the closed beta test of Heliborne: Enhanced Edition. Let's begin with some hard facts:
- 115 bugs have been reported during the test, as of today.
- 61 of the bugs reported are visual (which is the main focus of current testing).
- 1/4 of the issues have already been fixed in 2 updates following the initial beta version.
- 45 players have participated in the test.
We are really happy with how the testing is going. While testers give a lot of positive feedback, they are also very thorough in hunting and reporting bugs. And we want to take a chance to thank the Heliborne community again: the team hasn't expected such a high level of support and dedication.
Everything goes according to the plan so far. We've received a significant amount of bug reports, but this is pretty much what was expected. All our resources are thrown at fixing them and optimizing the game.
To give you a hint of what is happening 'behind the curtain,' here are a few memorable bug reports:
1. Advanced camouflage on HH-53

2. Pimped out AH-6 with tinted windows

3. The game camera got wet on a perfectly sunny day

4. Not really a bug, but if you were worried how the badass Ansat door gunner is doing, hes alright and cant care less.

The closed beta is still live. We continue to work on updates and test out fixes. More test pilots will be needed soon, don't forget to follow our official Discord server to stay tuned!
