MidBoss version 1.1.0 is out now, and marks the game’s full launch! This means the game is now available for Windows, Mac and Linux. The Steam launch also comes with the option to buy the original soundtrack by yuzuki. It’s been a hell of a long road, but we’re finally here. A big thank you to everyone who has supported us for so long, either through testing the game when it was in free beta, buying it on itch, or covering it during the long years it took to get here. This game probably wouldn’t have made it without your support.

The damage types tutorial message has been updated to tell the player that magical damage weapons only add their damage when using magical damage abilities.
The game has a new icon.

Mid's reminder tutorial is now delayed until he has 3 reminders and the player has reached the second floor.
The Mid reminder icon in the bottom right corner of the screen has been moved slightly away from the edge of the screen.

Kill your enemies, possess their bodies, and take their abilities as your own in this turn-based procedurally generated death labyrinth. You play as the imp, the weakest monster in the dungeon. Tired of being bullied by the other monsters, you set off with your sidekick Mid to descend to the deepest levels of the dungeon, defeat the final boss, and take his place.

MidBoss is easy to pick up and play if you're new to the genre of traditional roguelikes (turn-based strategic RPGs with permadeath), but still has the depth and complexity that veterans expect and enjoy.
