Game Tycoon 2, major update #3 to 0.4.0 released! Patch notes below.
Main features added in this version:
- marketing/PR (create advertising campaigns, book exhibition booths - and visit them!)
- law (get jobs, publishing contracts)
- tutorial (until Update 4)
New:
- new backgrounds in the boxes for platform releases and announcements
- in production, when click again on the game, the values for the production was again the standard ones
- finish successful a publishing contract, there appear now a message
- when come to production, on the right there can be changed the values without clicking a game. After clicking a game there will be shown then standard-values
- the GUI up on the screen is now on the map too
Fixed:
- display of mobile phone in the 90s is too dark
- some developer can be assigned to more projects
- shares in contracts will be calculated wrong
- guaranted units must be calculated correct (get more money after the guaranteed units are sold)
- sometimes the advisor in the tutorial speak but there's no voice
- devs are in training and can be in projects
- mobile phone doesn't show the complete ticker text
- of all stock companies can be bought anytime 10 shares!
- employees can't be added to started projects
- employees can't be taken from started projects
- fixes in project board when loading/saving
- a lot of tutorial fixes
- all tutorials was updated with the new features, old tutorials too!
- ok-button of old, not useable save-games was missing
- on some tutorial texts the voice was missing
- when change the language an error occur in the features
- after fire an employee who isn't longer needed, on the project board was the info 1/1 for example
- the GUI up on the screen in the tutorial sometimes disappears
- sometimes games sold more and more over the next years
- when you reproduce games in the production, you can choose a lower quality. But then the settings shouldn't be changeable
- there should be a text when the game is in the production
- a text is missing when try to fire an employee that is in training
- when paying back earlier a credit, then you pay only 50% of the interest
- sell games off cheap will bring to less money
- for international users, there are too much holidays in the year. Change from 6 to 30
- in the project board there's a space between the timeline and project
- the company-logo on the box should be on the lower right side and the name in the middle
- there's no message after a successful investment
- there should be a next, when the game is ready for production
- some explored features will not be marked in green
- some issues when choose a project on the board, assign devs and didn't start it now. Then exit the board and come back
- when adding more devs on the board the project will be ready sooner (not respected of their quality (that will come soon!))
- when deleting devs on the board the project will be ready later (not respected of their quality (that will come soon!))
- distribution contract assigned but no sales
- after platforms was taken from the market, but projects are still for this platform planned, they are still on the project board and can't be deleted
- on the project-board will be shown, when the planned beta starts
- entering the menu and resume a game with the resume-button in the endless-menu will hold the menu music in the current scene
- engines which have a one time license can be used for more projects
- the text, if a dev should be fired and is in a project assigned is wrong
