Be an agent attempting to secure the city network, or be a hacker attempting to compromise and defeat them. Utilize your communication, manipulation, and deduction skills to persuade others and win the game. You’ll never play the same game twice.Set in a future cyberpunk San Francisco, in 2038, cities have crushed the open internet. Networks are locked by security nodes and need to be maintained by NTF agents. Hackers have been searching for a way to break into them for years.
Save or corrupt the network by working together. Remember...in the future, anyone could be compromised. Who can you trust? ±
The game is a tribute to social party games such as The Resistance and Werewolf. As MINDNIGHT is heavily inspired after these games, we are looking into other table-top deduction social games to bring new features and modes along the way through updates.

Feature-wise this update sadly doesnt contain much.
This brings us to the next topic of this post: The future.
As you may notice updates got less and less frequent over the last year. We mostly added stuff that the community created. The team considers MINDNIGHT to mostly be feature complete at this point.
For most of us, MINDNIGHT is a hobby project that we created in our free time. That being said, we need to be realistic and admit that we just cant keep new high-quality content coming forever.
But dont worry, we wont shut down MINDNIGHT anytime soon. As long as we can afford it, the servers will keep running and we will try to keep the game in a working state with minor updates here and there if necessary.
Regarding the mobile version of the game, we need to still disappoint you for now. Because not much progress has been made. A complete redesign of the UI is required to make the game work on small screens, and that is just too much work for our limited free time while other projects are going on in parallel.
Lets get back to happier topics. mindnight_saint
The last 4-5 years were a great journey and it wouldnt be the same without all of you. The players, the content creators and all the friends that helped during the several stages of MINDNIGHT life and its development.
Nothing makes us happier than seeing people enjoying our game with friends or even making new friends while playing it. So keep having fun with it, especially in these weird times that we live in right now!
The whole Team wishes everybody great holidays and a happy new year 2022.
