First of all, we would like to apologize for the last update that made Zaccaria Pinball unplayable for some players on Linux.
In the last few weeks, we have worked on solving those issues. As a result of these fixes, we have to modify the minimum requirements for Linux players. Starting from Update #68, Linux players will require at least Ubuntu version 16.04 to play with Zaccaria Pinball.
Because SteamVR got updated in the past we also now have to make changes and update the game.
The current version of SteamVR library requires GCC version 4.9.
However, Ubuntu 14.04 repository still includes version GCC 4.8. Because the game always loads the VR library GCC 4.9 has to be installed from the source if you want to play on 14.04.
Also, we made a GUI for dependencies so you can see what's missing.
See the sample picture below. From now on zlib and libpng are changed from dynamics linking to static linking for less dependencies errors.
We would like to thank all Linux players for their understanding and patience. Update #68 should be released at end of next week.
