Quests We have implemented a few placeholder quests just to try out the functionality of the quest system. We would love your feedback on how quests are found and presented (wisp / NPC interaction), not so much the quest content at this point as they are just generic placeholders. We hope you will enjoy testing Tale of Toast, and as always we appreciate your feedback and bug reports! :)

Changes

Raw Meat is now a global drop for level 1-10 mobs.
Can send/receive party, guild, private, trade and world messages from inside dungeons.
Added armor categories to Crumbs shop to sort items.
Added crumbs armor sets as a possible purchasing option for a discount (instead of buying them one by one).
Can buy stacks of specific crumb shop items (instead of 1x per purchase, so 10x fireworks for example).
Can buy a character rename scroll.
Added new rare quality mail armor set which can be crafted.
All settings are now saved locally.
Added option to invert mouse y-axis.
Added option to disable "move forward by pressing both mouse buttons".
Added description to world map that describes what each icon means.
Camera sensitivity now has decimal values.
Camera sensitivity can no longer be set to 0.
Fungibarrow now drops from Evil Mushrooms.
Altered Fungibarrow stats to match the level it drops at.
Moved Octopus boss to Dry Lake.
Some temporary quests are now available (see note at the top).
Can no longer enter dungeons while you have a skull.

Bugfixes

Roaming quest NPCs will now stop moving when a player is interacting with them.
Quest items will no longer drop from mobs that drop the quest item after you have completed the quest.
The Skip Dialogue button was moved to the bottom of the screen.
Completing a quest and opening the log would not update the quest log properly.
Dialogue button no longer covers text in the quest window.
Scrolling on quest log is fixed.
AoE Healing spells now work again.
The roof on the house at Dry Lake did not use a LOD model.
If you cancel the "exit game" count down, your client will no longer exit when it would have hit zero.
Fixed raycasting issues with fences.
Fixed issues with Forest Golems.
Fixed an issue with Wisp quest triggers.
You can no longer destroy crumb items.
Adjusted octopus boss collider and position.
Fixed quit game buttons (again).

Tale of Toast is am open world MMORPG, with its core gameplay being inspired with what made old school MMORPGs endlessly fun and engaging. With its easy to pick up play style, and its high focus on ensuring social aspects, tactical combat, trade skills, procedurally generated dungeons, and quality quests, the game is sure to have something for everyone.

Engaging combat with risks and rewards
Experience battles throughout the world against enemies, bosses, players or by taking part of large scale guild wars. Will you be a villain killing innocent players for their inventory, or will you lead a posse to take out the villains for their equipment and inventory?
The various zones have different restrictions put on them with regards to PvP, and you can always take part in a duel, or fight without risk inside the PvP Arenas.

Classes
Tired of being told what you can and cannot do with your character? In ToT you do not choose a class for your character, you yourself decide what type of character you create. Perhaps you will have a pure melee warrior, or hybrid mage and ranger?

Trade Skills
You may take up a wide range of trade skills such as Mining, Woodcutting, Botany, Fishing, Blacksmithing, Carpentry, Leatherworking, Paring, Cooking, and Alchemy. The number of trade skills you take on is completely up to you. Will you become a generalist or specialise in a specific skill?

Dungeons
With both world dungeons that all players on the realm can enter, as well as instanced group instanced, everyone can do their preferred dungeon. Dungeons scale to the people who are inside, and dungeons are procedurally generated to ensure that each time you enter the same dungeon you will get a unique experience.

Quests
With high focus on quality before quantity, you will not find hundreds of quests that tells you to kill certain monsters, but instead you will find epic quests chains that unlock special features and locations for your character.

World
In the land of Astaria, you will find an open world taking place in a single zone with towns, capitals, forests, fields, summer areas, winter areas, desert areas, volcanoes, mines, and dungeons for you to explore in a dynamic day and night system with weather on top.

Free-to-Play
The game is free-to-play, and offers micro transactions for things such as cosmetic items, pets, guild features, character renames and realm transfers. We hade made a strong point to not have Pay-to-Win features available, so you cannot pay to gain an advantage over somebody in combat.
