There is a new update for YBit.
We are getting close to finishing the game. Only two more types of platforms, the music for this area and then the finale of the game to go. Probably, it will be finished around January!
About this update, now the game has the lastest area and also this is the first update after Steam release. I wanted to make a bigger update first but on a second thought I will aim for smaller updates till the final release.
So, here is the full list of changes:

Hello, everyone! There is a new update for YBit! This is going to be the last update before the Steam release which is coming 27 October! Which is this Friday! I added a new platform type and eight new levels for the game. With these, it also came new dialogues and I can say the second area is finished! The great news are that not only the levels and gameplay from the second area are finished, we also have the OST for that part! And apart from the music, I added new sound effects for different situations so it doesn’t feel so devoided of sound. Even more, I made a bunch of fixes to readjust the game to my vision and also some fixes that popped up during the playtest. I guess I will now test till the release and hope that nothing fails. If nothing fails, the next update will bring the third and last phase of the game! If not, well, you will hear from me sooner than expected with the list of fixes! Hello, everyone! I am going to make this one quick: a new update with loads of new things is now live for YBit. First, the game has finally met one of the final objetives, it has full joystick support working (this means you can now navigate through menues using your joystick!) Also, I added a new type of platform that works like springs. This, plus the last magnet one, will hopefully give a lot of more freedom of movement to the player. And of course, this new platform includes a new set of levels! Apart from that, I focused on adding more feedback to the game. This included feedback for the magnets platforms so you can see when they are affecting you and I also modified the death feedback in order to improve it. Then, minor changes including bug fixing, changing dialogues and hiding the mouse, as a friend recommended. Lastly, I implemented Unity Analytics which will let me recover data from plays and see what levels should be balanced. This new platform will work as a magnet that will let you move to the sides while pushing you to its center. As most of the platforms, it will work as a useful one (for example, to translate yourself around the map or stop you from big jumps) and also work as a hazzard (stopping your falls or dragging you to dangerous places). I personally think this dynamic helps to add a lot more variety without overwelming the player with information. As always, new platforms bring new dialogues. I added a new dialogue to introduce these magnets and also added a new dialogue to introduce the new area. Though the new area doesnt break the rules the game has set, it will comply with these rules with a bit more flexibility (for example, magnets dont only affect you when you touch them, they also affect you when you are in their proximity). Having this new point of view for the rules, will give more variety to these new area platforms. But not only these will change with the new area, the plot is moving foward and now you can start guessing what your friend is, and who your character is. Even it will not be explicit till the end of the game, I think it is something you can already guess. Finally, I made a bunch of changes to the game, these includes a lot of tiny changes that will give, in my opinion, a better feeling to the game. Hello, everyone! I have news about YBit and Witchcraft. First of all, about Witchcraft, we are making the last tweaks. You will be playing as a small hero made of information, trying to escape from a program that has crashed. Avoiding errors, not falling down and getting to the exits will be your mission.
