Good Day Fellow Tournament Warriors! IMPORTANT TEXT
As the New Year begins we will continue with our most constant tradition ever! We had a great run together in 2018, and we sure will continue to try to bring the best experience for everyone in 2019. On February 2nd AND 3rd at 6pm CET, together with OPN we will host the first tournament event of the year! For 2019, we have made 3 big important changes to all future tournament events. These changes will hopefully make the entire experience for everyone much better and more fun. First Big Change is that from now on all tournaments will take place during 2 days instead of 1. We will start the tournament on Saturday where EVERYONE is welcome to join. There are no limits to amount of players nor which platform. And there is also no time commitment except for the fact that it starts at 6PM CET as normal. There is no need to wait for entire rounds to finish, as long as your opponent is ready, you are free to play! Second Big Change is that the streaming time on Sunday will be cut down to only 3 hours long, instead of the previous 5h! This will hopefully make sure the level of excitement is more compact and make the event more enjoyable! During Sunday Stream Event, only the top 16 players left from the Saturday will be playing. That means on Saturday, you can keep playing until there is only 16 players left. And all those Generals will advance to Day 2! The cut of hours of stream will also hopefully bring in the more East located countries to participate in our tournaments! The Third Big Change is that all in game prizes (except participation) that are won for playing the tournament will be Halved! For example, First prize no longer receives 1000 ranked points, but 500 instead! Which we still believe is a lot of points. But the main reason we are doing this is because we think that the people joining in on the stream should be rewarded more fairly. Which mean they will have the chance to be able to win all these points that are no longer handed to the Winners! For now, that is all the information and Changes we will be bringing you!
