Good Day, Fellow Tournament Warriors!
Last Sunday we had the first Event of the year. We tried out our new tournament format with lots of new changes in all the areas. Prizing is different, Streaming is different and Gameplay is different! We would like to hear what you thought about that and how you liked it. We found it successful and are extremely pleased. But are there any changes you would have made?
Thank you to all the Great Warriors that participated and played very well this past weekend. We had record amount of numbers in almost every way. We had record amount of Sign-ups AND Show-ups. And about 1800 unique viewers that joined our twitch event!
Speaking of twitch, we would like to give a special thanks to our very own incredible Caster CheeseBurger that made his debut in an amazing fashion. Especially because we gave him only about 1h to prepare for it all, and he absolutely killed it! We really loved having him on, hopefully you all did too. Please thank him for his efforts on our discord!
If you joined the stream and saw the Grand Finals between Tormoz and Fasse, and hopefully saw their final battle being played, you might have realized that they used the Banned hero SatoShii! This is a direct hint to the fact that from now on, SatoShii will no longer be a banned hero in any of the future tournaments. We dont acknowledge her being as broken as before, and we expect that by the end of February, that everyone will have had the chance to win her!

As of the top winners from this first event, We had Izirin against Vunguyen. Battling for the 3rd place! None of them has ever joined our events or tournaments previously and in their very first debut, not only did they advance to day two and making top 16 players, but they also managed to win their way all throughout the semifinals. Unfortunately, Izirin just lost to Vu 3:1 making Vu our 3rd place winner! Congrats to you, make sure you get all the cool prizes!

As of for the Grand Finals between the Pro players Tormoz and Fasse, it was more important for them to put up a great show while playing. The two close friends asked the Twitch Chat which heroes they would like to see played, and then just had lots of fun. In the end Tormoz won 4:3, making him our new Champion for now and receiving his 2nd Champion Star!
Thank you all so so much for joining, breaking so many records together and having so much fun playing. Hopefully we will see just as many of you in the next one that is going to be held on 16th and 17th of March! This Event will be an Amateur Tournament! Who is going to be the General that takes the title from Tormoz! See you on the battlefield Warriors!
