I cant believe that four years had passed since Okhlos first launch. Okhlos took a ton of time and love to make, and sweat and tears. We were really happy with what we came up with, and how the game turned out. After the initial release, we expanded it with Okhlos Omega, which was a free update with tons of new content. New heroes, new enemies, hazards and rebalance. We felt that that was our swan song*1 for Okhlos. We felt really good closing that phase in our lives, and moving on to new projects. Nevertheless, as time passed, we knew there were some nasty little bugs that we wanted to address, and we thought that celebrating four years of the launch of Okhlos with a small bug fixing update would be neat. Of course, we couldn't keep our hands off and we had to throw something extra ;) so, we added some balance issues that we felt will make the game more enjoyable and as a bonus, a new hero showed up in the mob! Hope you all enjoy this new update. *1 To be in tone, Pliny the elder in the 77AD debunked the myth that either Swans were in fact silent nor that they sang before their deaths. That's some mythbusting right there! CHANGELOG: New hero!
Right after launching Okhlos, back in August 18th, we kept working non-stop on updates, fixes, and tons of small details. We also started working on the biggest update till date, and now it's finally out! https://youtu.be/QmgkeE-_o9w Here is a quick recap of some of the highlights of the update:More customization

Watch out! Ancient Greece has been taken by the dead! Hordes of zombies are lurking in Okhlos!
Starting today, and until November the 4th, the Greeks rampaging against the Gods will be infested with the Zombie plague.
Also, a few shadowy figures had been spotted! Pay close attention to some Philosophers...
The Okhlos: Zombie Edition update is totally free, so check it out now!

Okhlos' new version is here!
We've migrated from Unity 4 to Unity 5. And a lot of improvements were made. The most important ones are that now the game supports cursor lock on multi monitor displays, and an overall improvement in graphics, shadows and shaders. We've also changed the pieces left by a building when it's destroyed, and a done lot of bug fixing.
Bug Fixes:
- The resolution issues which made you unable to play the game on some AMD configurations (mostly on some MacBook Pro) are now fixed
- Beating the game with Einstenos in the mob, no longer makes that if you start a new run at that moment it crashes upon finishing an area
- Fixed a loading freeze when trying to spawn a hero that was already in mob (inside one of the special buildings)
- Fixed a crash after killing Hades (with Thucydides in the mob, and another hero affected by his ability also in the mob but dead)
- Gryphons can no longer get stuck flying away from the mob after killing a unit
- Flipped screen on Lemnos in some configurations when the anti-aliasing is activated
- Dying at the same as defeating a boss no longer makes you respawn at the next world but without a mob
- Pyrrho will now not kill any heroes, as part of his ability
- Stats are not stored any more during Crypto runs (as are persistent heroes)
- Panacea will no longer try to bring back to life disbanded units (which resulted in a mess)
Plus several other minor issues.
And lastly, here is a screen showing some of the new illumination and shaders.

Hey all!
Amazing news!
This week we started the migration to Unity 5!
The main reason behind this is that it will solve the issues that prevented people with some Mac Book Pro configurations (and a few other setups) from playing the game. Asides from this, probably the coolest feature we are introducing in this version, is CURSOR LOCK!
(This will only work for the people who owns Okhlos on Steam)
For all of you who are playing with mouse and a multi monitor setup, and you hate when your mouse escapes the window, now the mouse will be locked to the window!
As far as we know, this feature works only on PC and Linux. Unity currently does not support it on Mac.
We are preparing a open branch for all of you who already have the game. Just go to your Steam Library, select Okhlos and then properties. Go to the betas tab, and there you will be able to choose "Unity 5 Migration".
You will see Okhlos [EngineMigration] on your steam Library and you'll know it worked!
This is not final, so if anyone wants to help us, feel free to post any bug or problems you find on the Steam forums, in the "Unity 5 Migration" thread.

We've managed to find and fix a couple of situations that would block progress: The leader getting stuck while transporting to the Minotaur's Arena. People getting trapped when a store closes. Gryphons that stay in midair if they lose their target. And we've also fixed some other issues that may have lead to some of the crashes. Sadly, there still are some crashes and blockers in some circumstances we need to figure out (most notably the mob disappearing during Ares' fight), and we will continue working on them. But we will also start the process of upgrading the engine, which some research and testing has pointed out that is probably the only way to fix the problem that has been preventing people playing on some configurations (mostly Mac Pro with retina display and some 4K displays on Windows). If all goes well, this will also mean that cursor lock feature is also near. Once more, I cannot stress enough how great the help and support of everyone who took the time to file reports, send logs and provide feedback! Thank you for all the love and for the patience with the issues!

Hey, folks! We have just uploaded a new build, version 1.0.3, which should solve some of the critical issues that have been reported. Among the most important ones is the sound issue that made the game completely silent on devices set to 192000 Hz. There is also a new fix for the Aphrodite crash that some people were experiencing, hopefully this time for good. And there is also a fix for the bug that made you skip levels if, after killing a boss, Pandora spawned enemies and you defeated them. There are also some other fixes in this version, that aim to address a variety of other issues, but are going to continue working on the remaining problems (and any new one that may arise). Asides bug fixing, there are two new things we would like to tell you about. One is that the OST is now presented both in MP3 and FLAC formats, instead of solely on MP3 as it was before. And the other one is that Okhlos' trading cards are finally up! Everyone should be able to see them now. We hope you like them! And that's it for now. Back to work!

Hi, everyone! Here is to let you know that we have just uploaded a new build. We've managed to track down and fix the crash at the end of fight with Aphrodite, along with one during the Apollo fight and a few other more. There are still many more things to fix, sadly. On the top of our priority list are the remaining crashes that have been reported, the resolution issues on Mac and the sound issue. We will be working throughout the weekend to fix them and hopefully have a new build on Monday. Last, but not least, we would like to send a big shout-out to everyone who sent their bug reports, logs and pointed out issues. It's terrific help for a two-people studio for us! You rock! :)
