Hi friends, I wanted to let you know that in October of this year (on the 6th Anniversary of the original release of Yorkshire Gubbins) I'm going to make An Announcement. But I don't know what the announcement is going to be yet. This isn't a joke. I'm like a ferret. Never trust a ferret. Or me. I do have an episode in progress right now. I am doing everything I can to make progress on it each and every day, in the hopes that it will become something you get to download and play and everyone gets the Happy Ending. I hope The Announcement is "A New Episode! Soon! Free!" But at the same time because I'm doing "everything I can", and I mean that literally, it does mean that if this project fails it's not clear to me how it will ever be possible to complete a new episode. At least, not while I have a full time day job. So the Sad Ending version of The Announcement will be "I'm sorry but there will never be any more Yorkshire Gubbins, it's just not possible". Not so much admitting defeat as accepting reality, as bitter as that might be. Either way, The Announcement will represent closure. I hope it's the happy ending, and that's what I'm working towards, but one way other another it ends. It ends this year.
