City Game Studio v1.15 - The Evolution Continues
One of the key highlights of this update is the enhancement of the in-development game panel. Thanks to your valuable feedback, I've revamped this interface to make it even more intuitive and user-friendly. Now, managing your games during development is smoother than ever before. I've added new tooltips to provide instant information about various buttons, ensuring you're always in control.
Until now, when you bought a competitor, you would acquire their studios, their games, and their employees. However, the employees were not assigned to studios. I worked on this, and now when you purchase a competitor, the employees are automatically assigned to the studios.
Saving your game progress should be a breeze, and in this update, I've redesigned the save mechanism to make it more efficient. Now, you can create new save slots for your games with a simple click. It's a small change, but one that has been requested by many players, and I'm always eager to listen to your suggestions.
Sometimes, in the ever-evolving world of game development, you need to make tough decisions. With v1.15, I'm introducing the ability to demolish studios, universities, and convention centers. A new button on the world map makes it easy to destroy these buildings when necessary. It's all about giving you greater control over your gaming empire.
In the quest for perfection, I've addressed a critical issue regarding game engines. Previously, competitors could use your engines even when you were still working on them. Now, they won't have access until your engine is ready and fully operational. Fair competition is essential, after all!
For a more visually pleasing and performance-optimized experience, I've unified the background for both the map and the studio scenes. This background, rendered only once, is now animated and dynamically changes color to match the context. It's a subtle but significant improvement to enhance your gaming experience.
Looking ahead, my focus for the next phase will be on reworking the In-App Purchase panel. As the gaming landscape evolves, I want to ensure that this aspect of City Game Studio continues to meet your expectations and provide seamless in-game transactions. I'm incredibly grateful for your continued support and feedback. City Game Studio wouldn't be where it is today without the passionate community that surrounds it. Your dedication and enthusiasm drive me to keep pushing the boundaries of what this game can offer. So, dive into City Game Studio v1.15 and explore these exciting new features for yourself. I hope you enjoy this update as much as I've enjoyed bringing it to life. Stay tuned for more exciting developments on the horizon, and as always, happy gaming! Cheers, Xavier aka Binogure

I've added new tooltips to provide instant information about various buttons, ensuring you're always in control.
Acquiring Competitors

City Game Studio is a sandbox type management game.
January 1975, you have created your video game company. You are renting a tight place that allows you to develop your first game. Quickly, your games are successful and you already have to move, but it is up to you to cross the city to pick up your next local. In the blink of an eye you are hiring artists to improve the visual aspect of your games. Next came developers and then testers. But a problem remains, even if your games are brilliants, you don't have enough fans to self-publish a big game to make your studio profitable. You will have to turn to video game editors who will carve out the lion's share. Combinating successes is the only way of getting rid of the publishers. Furthermore you will be able to publish your own publishing contracts. Then you will then be ready to dominate the market and buy back your competitors.
Maps and studios are procedurally generated. Combined with random events and customizable studios, you will rediscover the game with each new game.
Browse the cities and choose the location of your next studio. As my uncle said "we do not hire new talents with vinegar !"
Everyone is not a studio designer, yet every piece of furniture has its place in your studio, and can have an influence on the history of your company.
Each game is unique, but over time new generations of consoles come out. You cannot create a bestseller alone. You have to hire new talents that will help you creating the perfect game
The development of the game is broadcast on twitch using the channel binogure.
