As always this update is save game compatible to allow you to continue your pre-existing FM18 career. However, if you want access to all the latest transfers, managerial appointments and the like you'll need to start a new career game choosing the 18.3.0 Update database. Once you open Steam the game will automatically begin to update. If FM is already open, we recommend first of all saving the game then exiting. Once you've done so the game should update, but if you find it doesn't just restart Steam.
